Who?

Miami easily. FSU is trashier than a Crystal in a Krystals.

Miami is a douchebag private school for the spoiled children of northeastern refugees escaping the cold back home. The athletic department is basically just Miami hoodrats.
I would only vote for FSU if they signed a legally binding contract to stop that stupid, incessant, 1950's TV indian chant.

Neither. They both suck and add nothing. The SEC needs to search for schools outside of their traditional footprint for up and coming programs. .

UK, Florida, and UGA are all founding members who have won titles in football, basketball, and baseball.
SCar has been a member for several decades, and has contributed some baseball titles, and have been to the Final 4 in hoops within the past 5 years.
Aggy has contributed nothing to this conference and doesn't even have a real seat at the table yet.
Frick off with your whining.

Both.
ESPN decides the value.
Networks are willing to pay for football brand names.
Good games bring viewers/TV ratings.

OMG…neither brings anything to the SEC except a dirty, low down, cheating, ugly, crappy reputation that will tar every SEC school with their slime. Hell no to either.
No and hell-no, to Clemson or schools named after a city, or with “State” or Tech” in their name. The only schools remotely interesting while honoring our conference name would be Virginia and UNC… and they ain’t leaving the ACC.
16 teams is enough…more than enough…WAY more than enough.

Miami could school the SEC on cheating strategies and that’s saying something.

Like it or not, the Big 10 is heading towards becoming a super-conference, and so is the SEC. What's very likely going to happen, is that those 2 conferences will expand to the point of being able to form multiple 8-10 team divisions, and they will host extended "conference championships"... and not participate in the NCAA playoff. Think if we brought the meat of the ACC in, you get an SEC playoff with, say, Clemson, Oklahoma, Alabama, and Georgia (or LSU, or Florida, etc).
Over in the Big 10(x2), you see Penn State, Ohio State, USC and probably Notre Dame* in their playoff.
*Notre Dame has resisted the Big 10 and now plays with the ACC, so they just MIGHT be in play for the SEC at some point. Doubtful, but possible
Each conference declares their champ 'the true champion'. TV and the nation ultimately decide, and sooner or later the losing conference is absorbed by the winner, and that becomes the NEW major college football governing authority (not the NCAA).
You may dislike Clemson, Florida State etc, but do you want them adding to the Big 10's side? I don't.

Florida State, Clemson, Georgia Tech, and even Tulane are better targets than Miami. At least with those four, you're getting pre-built rivalries with conference members and somewhat decent stadiums and locations, etc. Miami hasn't been relevant since... what... 2002; their stadium is straight garbage, and their fans are extremely trashy (among the worst that I've ever seen). In fact, the only thing that they have going for them is that they're great at academics, and they have the beach.
