Don't worry. Bama isn't losing to Auburn.
Looks like Florida may steal the victory and their coach.

re: Auburn Fans: who do we want?

At this point, Sumrall should be the top choice, but since he wants to get back into coaching, I would be fine with Gruden, too. Toss-in an obligatory kick the tires on Dabo on top of it all.

Why can’t Missou break through???

Because the Big 6 (soon to be the Big 8) runs the conference. When you're going up against half of the Top 15 (and arguably, half of the Top 25) best programs in the sport on an annual basis, you're not 'breaking' through as a program.

Or did they turn the corner at Arkansas?

I think we're giving him until the end of the year to 'prove it,' but all in all, he's cooked (and to be frank, thankfully). The guy has coached his last program at the power level, and I think Auburn will allow him to gracefully resign over health concerns stemming from his cancer diagnosis earlier in the year.

However, I would seriously consider Brohm as well. Brohm would be high on my list if LSU stunned us and fired BK.

Brohm ain't leaving Louisville any more than Key is leaving GA Tech, etc.

Don't care. Everything associated with the current regime needs to be flushed.
Ole Miss until his children transition into adulthood. Afterwards, I would argue that Florida would come back into play for his ex-wife's (rumored to be back together) ties to the university through her father. Auburn blew its chance, and LSU and SC aren't in play. Honestly, if he stays on his current trajectory, he could become Ole Miss's greatest coach, and more than likely, have the field named after him, etc.
Okay... and? If you watch his documentary on ESPN, it's clear that he's not leaving Ole Miss until his children are completely out of the house and by extension, Oxford.

That's not the case in the slightest.
No, off of the top of my head: Alabama, Georgia, Texas, Auburn, LSU, Tennessee, and Arkansas all got who they wanted (or needed). All in all, the selections for each team aren't that bad.
Injured? No. He's a relatively inexperienced starter at the collegiate level who, due to the pressure, has a case of the yips.
IC: Alabama, Florida, and Georgia
Alternative IC: Alabama, Georgia, and Vanderbilt
Post-SEC Officials Ruining Everything (Most Likely Outcome): Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi State

OOC Requirement: GA Tech
Some of them are absurd ('93 and '58). The rest are whatever and open for debate. '83 and '04 should've always been claimed.
And once Lashlee turns us down, we're about to go after Gruden.

Would have been a great fit years ago. But what do they bring now?

Access to Western Virginia, parts of Pennsylvania, and the Pittsburgh markets for advertisers and network bundling for the ACC and SEC Networks. Additionally, it eliminates the need to deal with the Big XII for the Backyard Brawl, and it doubles-down on the ACC/SEC dichotomy for ESPN's network production capabilities. Before Missouri came into the picture, WVU was the preferred partner alongside A&M.

P.S. We could get a nice set of rivalries between Kentucky (Bourbon), Tennessee (Whiskey), and West Virginia (Moonshine), too.
Because Auburn's current program is a dumpster fire.
No, but I think it's possible that they're the next Nebraska. Given their histories, comparing them to Mizzou is a bit of a disservice.
If the conference had its way: UNC, UVA, and FSU in that order. If I had my way: UNC, UVA, GA Tech, Duke, Tulane, Rice, Florida State, and possibly, Texas Tech and West Virginia. Personally, I would prefer to see more Vanderbilt-style additions to help raise the conference's academic profile.
