Why is Corbin even listed lol

Corbin and Cohen are really tight. I don't think it will be him, but there has been mutual interest reported by national college baseball writers.

Unless something dramatic happens, it will be one of the three listed above. I think it will be McConnell. We've owned Louisville this academic year. Might as well take their baseball coach.

Trade raped them on defensive coordinator
Beat their arse in the Gator Bowl with a backup QB and graduate assistant coaching staff
Ended their men's NIT season at the YUM Center
Ended their women's NCAA season in the Final Four
Going to take their baseball coach

Except we’ve actually met with all the 3 of these coaches and one of them already committed. I think it’s Schloss. Cohen said on a State podcast that the coach is already signed, but not announcing till after season.

SEC will not allow in conference poaching so Corbin is out.

McDonnell turned down Texas so he’s probably not coming to Miss St.

People keep referring to Texas. Were they willing to pay $1.5 mil+ did they have a baseball coach as AD, did they go all in for a new $55 mil baseball stadium ? Do they draw over 10k for baseball games ?

It's not like that's Moo's average. You did it exactly twice this year.

What’s wrong with the guy you have now? I think he has done a great job.

I think Schloss. Highly doubt it’s Corbin.

Probably b/c Austin isn't in bumblefrick with zilch to do. I'm not sure why you think that is something that will pull a baseball coach away to StarkVegas over living in Austin.

Not to mention TX is a top 3 all time program. State isn’t even in the same stratosphere. My guess is Louisville’s coach

Cohen and boosters want a big name guy. Henderson doesn’t want the job that’s been said in MSU reporting circles.

What’s unrealistic with this list?

LSU offered Corbin whatever he wanted and he turned it down. He’s even more entrenched at Vanderbilt now. He isn’t going to Starkville, MS.

Yeah no way I'm moving to Starkville from Dallas, Nashville, or even Louisville. Good luck though.

I think it's one of the first two mentioned.
By the sound of it, Cohen already got his guy but wont make it official until after the season is over. D1 baseball says it's alot big names interested
