I'm not sure why you think that is something that will pull a baseball coach away to StarkVegas over living in Austin.

The basketball coaches State hired left bumblefrick Santa Barbara, CA and bumblefrick College Station, TX to come to Starkville.

Vanderbilt is a better baseball program than MSU

Eh, that’s somewhat debatable.

Yes because of the scholarship thing and the fact that a Vanderbilt degree > MSU degree.

No because of the freaking whistler.

AU fans need to keep whistling past the graveyard and hope we don't get far enough down the list to give Butch a call.

You are correct because he's not going to be asked to.

Cohen was on the radio yesterday and said the interest for this job has been overwhelming and when asked if there was a money amount he had in mind, he said money was no object and that Msu would land a top coach.

Eta: We will have the finest baseball stadium in the country. Construction will be finished before next season.

Schlossnagle isn’t leaving TCU/Ft. Worth for Mississippi.
I promise.
And that is said with zero malice.

When Moo hired Ben Howland he had been fired from UCLA and jobless for a year. When Moo hired Vic Shaffer he was an associate coach at A&M under still current national title winning head coach Gary Blair.

Nice try though.

I didn’t say he was.
But he’s built that program.
And their facilities.
And all that they are.
Someone would have a better shot at pulling Gary Patterson away from the football team.
Again, it’s no slam at State; but Schlossnagle isn’t headed to Starkville.

State should have one. How they managed NOT to get one when Thunder AND Lighting on the team at the same time is beyond me.

It's voodoo or a curse. It's even extends past baseball. Could have won 3 titles since 2013. 1 in baseball and 2 in women's basketball but that curse tho

It's not like that's Moo's average. You did it exactly twice this year.
