What do you do with Henderson if you make this run all the way to Omaha?

How do you that if the guy leads our team to the CWS? I mean he will have basically done what we all expect State to compete for each year. Which is going to a Regional, SR and have a chance to go to Omaha. Only 8 teams out several hundred make it there.

He has done an amazing job no doubt. But I think if we can make a splash hire it is the right thing to do for the future. I want a a guy who can bring us success for ten plus years and I dont think Gary can. I dont know if he wants to do it at his age.

How many of these players did Henderson recruit??????

I think state should pass no matter what he does.

I think Jake Gautreau gets a good bit of credit for turning things around. Henderson held it together but Jake got the offense going; especially with the young hitters.

Cohen: So Jim as you can see we have a lot to offer and...
Schloss: I hate to to cut you off John but as much as my family and I were impressed by the salad bar at Ruby Tuesday’s we’re going to head on back to DFW. Good luck and again, thank you for the opportunity.

Cohen: So as you can see Dan, Starkville offers you amenities that you just don’t...
McDonnell: My family and I have a luxury box at Churchill Downs available to us at all times, John.
Cohen: Remember how I said we’re going to rent you out a cabin right on the race track at the Neshoba County Fair every...
McDonnell: I hate to cut you off John but I’m going to. Thank you for the tour and as much as the wife and kids were absolutely blown away by the complimentary Sonic Blasts you can take us on back to the airport now. Thank you again. This was a humbling experience.

Cohen: Hey Tim! When are you...

If we went after those 3 coaches we’d probably get 2 of them.

I know you’re having a Tennessee Tech fueled melt, but y’all just got bounced from your own regional by a midweek team, and we’ve advanced to a super with a washed up pitching coach. We’ll be just fine with whoever he hires.

Ole Miss fans: we've set a school record for wins in a season. Did y'all catch that SEC tournament? Already got my hotel reservations in Omaha!

Yeah, ya'll are ready to fire your best coach ever.

Granted, your best team ever wasn't able to match our interim coach, but you are used to that.

In all seriousness though, you did have a great season, and baseball is a fickle mistress (just ask Martin at Fla St).

Our AD isn’t a humongous a-hole for starters. That usually helps.

Bianco being best friends with both McDonnell and Schloss would help us out with the sell as well.

I’m sure you’ll find a decent coach to come to the Carnegie Hall of college baseball. He’s just going to have to drag his family to Starkville with a choker leash around their necks.

I don’t think anyone outside of OP thought we had any chance at Tim.

I’m glad you wake up everyday with the notion of discussing Mississippi State sports. Might be time to go through your post history and reevaluate life.

No way we have to settle for someone like Calvi. If Cohen misses on his top 3, his next 3 are all his former assistants and current SEC coaches in Butch Thompson, Nick Mingione, and Brad Bohannan
