I don't think that's necessary. You can just watch his head and see that he wasn't watching Ridley.

I get the potential penalties. Stop acting like you are the only one that understands the game.

When harris stops in his tracks #45 obviously has his hands in front of him looking like he is wrapping him up.

Again....I'm responding to the picture shown. That is it. In the picture it looks like #45 is wrapping harris up because harris stopped in his tracks to let the ball go by for ridley to catch it. Essentially a "pick" of #45.

Should #45 not be on harris as close as he was or have his hand in that position to swat the pass away or maybe he shouldnt have been looking up field either??? Hell why be out there #45??

Oh I see what's going on....bama fans don't want a "pick" to be associated to their NC....ok...cool...I get...yeah great points guys....wink wink....smfh

He was clearly throwing at Harris, it was a fricking prayer, and it was completely obvious.

But, it wasn't a pick...

That was pretty good coverage. Didn't know 45 had his arms around Harris like that though. Dang.

Harris was stopping to catch the ball that was thrown right to him. It wasn't a "pick". He wasn't doing it for ridley. Your guy ran into him and wrapped him up because he saw the same thing. This isn't complicated.

I don't know what your point is here? Are you saying that because it was a tough spot for #45 that pass interference doesn't count?

The pass interference doesn't matter. Because Ridley caught the ball before it got to Harris, therefore the PI wasn't called. It's just pointed out to note that, even if the play had gone as Tua intended, it was going to be a good result.

After last season, I don't care if Bama is never called for a pick play again. Ever. I would LMAO if Bama WON a NC because of a pick play. I hope to hell that was a pick play TD in the Sugar Bowl.

LOL, UGA holds 82 bigger than shite and not one blind bammer has said a thing....didn't matter cause the play should have been blown dead due to Nightjay's false start.

Damn bammers are blind.

The point is, if Ridley hadn't been there, it was going to be 15 yards (or half the distance) and do over. So, a big play, either way.

In your dreams. The PI was not flagged and was not going to be flagged. If Ridley doesn't catch the pass, UGA is the 2017 National Champion.

This. Because that officiating crew sucked arse all night long and blew call after call all night long. I get that UGA fans are butthurt because it was a heart wrenching way to lose a natty. But don't blame it strictly on the officiating because it was shitty both ways. They probably blew more calls for UGA, especially late, but there were plenty to go around. If you don't want that to happen, take them out of the game. Score more than 13 fricking points when you stomp the shite out of a team for one half. If it's 21-0 at the half as it should have been, we probably don't come all the way back.

Would you like some cheese with that whine? Because you've bitched about the same couple of plays all week. Move on. Look at other things.

Bama fans may bitch about the pick play last year, but most of those same fans will also tell you that if we run the damn ball a little more and pick up just a couple of first downs in the 3rd quarter instead of constant 3 and outs, it never comes down to the pick play. There are many crucial plays in a game. Seldom is one the linchpin of the entire game.

I'm still bitching that we sliced and diced the UGA defense all 4th quarter but when we got the ball back with time to score and win, we get in alleged FG range for our notoriously shaky kicker and leave it on his leg instead of going for the kill shot. How stupid was that decision? Nearly cost us the title!

AMEN

I'm bitching about that in my living room every night this week when I re-watch the game.

That was a pansy arse move IMO. I haven't bitched about it on here because I'd get chastised for bitching about that little detail when the team ultimately won the game.

When the ball bounced off Harris' facemask and the UGA defender was wrapped around him like a straight jacket, they would have seen and called it. It wasn't called because Ridley caught the ball before it got there. But, even those refs would have seen it if the ball had ever arrived.

Pappanastos has made those short kicks all year. You don't get risky with the playcalling when you're in easy field goal range to win the game. If we'd turned the ball over there and lost in overtime there would be no end to the bitching about how stupid it was to take a risk rather than going for the easy FG.

He was throwing to Najee, but the Georgia defender wrapped him up, literally giving him a bearhug. Najee couldn't catch the pass due to the defender holding his arms to his side, so Ridley saw this and saved the day.

Ridley was a hero.

Harris. Great play by Ridley and lucky to be in that spot.
