I’d make the walk up A1A and stop at all the different restaurants and bars. Bos Beach is a nice hangout spot with a good view. Elbo Room, Blondies, Hooters, S3. I’d stay away from most of the restaurants attached to the hotels. Most are way overpriced. Plenty to choose from. Lona at the Westin resort is good, not overly priced either. Mexican. Make a day for the water taxi. Has about 10 different stops at restaurants/bars along the intracoastal. There’s a pick up spot at Bahia Mar. I’d look at the Daer Club at Hard Rock as well, it’s kind of douchey but there’s phenomenal arse and tits everywhere, get a cabana. Las Olas has a bunch of restaurants and bars that are all walkable once you’re there. Only about a 5 minute drive. Get a golf cart shuttle to take you. Doc B’s has some really good food. All made fresh daily. Not too pricey either. It’s in the downtown area of Fort Laudy Kaluz is a nice, fancier type of restaurant about 15 minutes north. Could go to Lauderdale By the Sea after and walk around that area as well
He nailed it. Elbo is a cash only bar, it’s been established since 1938 and is a landmark in Ft. Lauderdale. Think of a dive bar. Another heads up. They live stream there. Very funny to watch

Heading back to Verbier, Switzerland this coming March. Was there half of March and plan to do a little longer this coming March. Very excited!! Had a blast last season

Was just there in March for over half a month. Zurich was very cool. I liked Lucerne better, it's about an hour train ride west. Had the best time in Verbier, western Switzerland. However, I was skiing there and their ski season is ending in April. You can still do outdoor activities, if you are into that.

Kiss kiss bang bang. When he was getting back into his groove. Great movie.

Ironically, you’d get killed by those people and they would steal your shite.

As I said. I went through the fire department. But it was about the same. A bunch of teenagers and 20 year olds. A few older guys. Most of the instructors were all younger than me. Just put your ego aside. So what, just play the game. I did for 13 weeks and then probation. I was able to keep up with most of those guys, I’m sure you will to. I found being more mature with life experiences was an asset

I decided to become a FF/medic at 37 in South Florida. After all my certs were completed I ended up getting hired at 40. Best decision I ever made. I know it’s not the national guard, but still government. Also, south Florida is one of the most competitive places to be a firefighter because of the pay, benefits, pension, Kelly day’s etc. I say all this because I was doing ad sales before, and after I were to ‘retire’ health care was going to be a bitch as well as hoping my 401k would be enough. I can still retire at 25 years with my full pension. I’m assuming your timeline would be around the same.
If you’re going to do it. Do it now. Wish I would have done it earlier. Long run it’s the best decision.

I stop here on my way to Boca Del Toro. It's ok. The canal is really cool, but that was about it for me. I thought the bars were ok, but am only there for a night each time I go.
re: Great jazz bars in NYC

Bathtub Gin.
Ok, not truly a jazz bar, but a great speak easy on the lower east side. At first look it is a coffee shop. At night you walk in and there is a patron all in black in the corner. They pop open a secret cabinet that opens up to the bar. You don't know if you are at the correct address because it does not say bathtub gin. You will just see a picture of a girl in a tub.

re: What's your college major?

Political Science and History here. Did nothing with it. I worked in NYC doing advertising sales at Viacom. I now live in south Florida as a firefighter/paramedic. Best decision I ever made.
I enjoyed studying politics and history. I knew I never wanted to be a politician or lawyer. Looking back it was a waste of money. Like others have stated, time management was the only thing I learned in college.

Didn’t we laugh at everyone with the hot takes in our game when we were down 10-0? Let’s settle the frick down and watch the game. And maybe wait for….5 minutes to run off. Ridiculous lol.
re: Better or worse in 2023?
Posted by ElephantGA on 1/3/23 at 1:16 pm
LSU - better (BK second year, I feel a few more wins, plus QB coming back)
UTn - worse (I don’t know all they are losing to be far)
ATM - better (I mean, can they get worse…They can but I see one more win)
Bama - even (though I’m hesitant bc of coordinators and QB)
UF - even
UGA - worse (no dig - tough to make three in a row)
AU - better
Ark- better
USC- even
Vandy- even
MSU- worse (lost a great coach)
UK - worse (losing too much)
Miss - better
Mizz- better

Explain why it’s boring. Truly curious.

LSU and Tennessee ran through us sooo no.

Umm. I’m a huge bama fan, however it’s the exact opposite. I hope you’re a shitty troll and don’t really believe what you are saying. I doubt it though. Ugh
