Didn't look offside to me either. Too close to call.

That's because it's a false start.

Pappanastos has made those short kicks all year. You don't get risky with the playcalling when you're in easy field goal range to win the game. If we'd turned the ball over there and lost in overtime there would be no end to the bitching about how stupid it was to take a risk rather than going for the easy FG.

I'm gonna have to disagree with you there, Teague. Pap has made those kicks all year until we got to the playoffs, where he'd already shanked 2 similarly easy kicks. He's been serviceable, but I wouldn't call him clutch and that was a clutch situation. I wouldn't have gotten particularly dangerous with the play calling but I wouldn't have shut it down like we did either. Some conservative screens and easy throws to either get it in point blank range or score. That's all I wanted, just don't cross the 20 and run straight up the middle 3 times.

From what Ive been told, he actually intended to throw to Harris. It seems that when Harris did the CFL style running start, that was the low key indicator to Tua that he had an edge ovee the corner. Unfortunately, Ridley wasnt gonna let his little brother outshine him so he jumped out and snagged it.
