If Ridley was not there, it would have been an easily-called PI.

There was 0% chance he was throwing to Ridley

Harris was getting tackle while ball was in the air also.

When I saw the replay I thought it was Harris also. The best part of that play is that it looks like Harris saw that Ridley had a better chance at the ball and stopped to shield his defender. The guy did grab him but it looked to me like Harris was pushing back into him to stop him from getting to the ball.

This. I think Harris deserves almost all the credit on the play. He saw the ball, saw Ridley, stopped in his tracks, prevented a 3 player collision and the rest is history.

Looks like harris stops in his tracks, to cause a "pick play" to let ridley catch the ball.

Harris stopped in his tracks because the ball was thrown right at him to avoid the defenders coming across from the right (namely #20).

Tua saw an opening to get the ball to Harris. Harris, smartly, stopped his route to adjust and try to catch the ball (and got mugged). Ridley, coming across the field was in the right place at the right time.

It was a good play by all three guys involved. Ridley catching it was just a bit flukey, but it worked out.

was that before or after the play should have been blown dead for his false start?

Ha. Ok. So if a reciever stops in his tracks, and a defender whose job is to be on him close runs into his back is "mugging him". Ha. Got it.

From what I see in that pic I responded to harris "picked play" #45.

if the side judge had done his job and blown the play dead, he could have saved poor Najee' from getting mugged.

False Start #22, 4th and 14

Umm isn’t that pass interference? So where’s the flag? Should have been thrown even though Ridley made the catch.

But...but...that doesn’t fit the narrative of the haters talking shite about how the refs gave it to Bama. The truth is it was a typical Big 10 officiating crew: off the charts shitty at what they do and they missed so many calls on both sides that it is embarrassing. .

Ummm, play should have been blown dead for false start which goes more to the "hater" narrative. Thanks for helping to prove our point

He didn't just run into the back of him. He wrapped him up.

Yes, but let's focus on how this guy doesn't understand that just running into the receiver is also PI.

You should be pissed at the side judge for not calling 22 for false start and it would have saved you and 22 the pain.

Sounds like the only one in pain is you.
