Not really...Wuerffel no doubt he was perhaps the most accurate but he didn't always throw the "prettiest ball".So em throw more than one wounded duck.

Threw a bunch of wounded ducks for TDs every year vs. UGA.

The Bama fans thought the question was "who has the prettiest balls in SEC history ?", so don't hold it against them.

He was also a Pennsylvania high school all-state basketball player. Namath was probably the 2nd best athlete to have ever been at Alabama (behind Charles Cleveland).
Namath played safety late in a close game vs MSU in 1963 because he was such a great athlete. He may have done that at other times.

Don't be such a bitch...he didn't throw the "prettiest ball" but he was probably the most accurate SEC passer I've ever seen.Hint:Ya don't have to throw the prettiest pass to be a great QB and DW proved that.

I agree, I don't think Danny had the prettiest spiral, it just always went pretty much where he wanted it too, especially on deep throws.

Jared Lorenzen. No one else in SEC history has had the ability to throw a ball end over end in a straight line with enough velocity to kill a man.

Jarret Lee threw a beautiful ball and obviously the most catchable as he made everyone on defense look like NFL first round Wr’s.

Chris Leak was the name that popped in my head first. I also remember Jason Campbell throwing a nice ball.

Much of Leak's career was overshadowed by the Zook hysteria. He put up some great numbers, really makes you wonder what he could have done under Spurrier.
