LSU or Clemson take your pick.

LSUs poor performance was the most shocking followed by Clemson’s constant screwups. I didn’t expect anything much out of UF vs Utah in Utah. I was a little surprised to see what a good team NC has.

LSU is right up there with Clemson because of the nature in how you lost. Total physical beatdown.

LSU. Both because Kelly made a fool of himself and Daniels is still the same guy.

It's probably Clemson. Losing to a division foe while being bullied in the process.

LSU's loss is concerning ONLY for the fact that they look lifeless the 2nd half and as many on here have already stated, they looked like they quit. The saving grace is that it was against a good FSU team and it's the first game so LSU has plenty of time to turn it around and hide the blemish. The biggest point of concern is if they crack again. Then Kelly is going to find himself on a hot seat which would be insulated by a 90 million dollar buyout (Ags know all about that).

The LSU loss hurt the most but all the other teams playing basically unwatchable games against shite teams sure felt like a L for viewership.

Many of them have a second round of shite teams scheduled for this weekend too.

Clemson, clearly. Florida and LSU lost to playoff contention teams. North Carolina will finish high in the ACC.

Clemson got run by a secretly decent Duke team. Clemson didn't just lose; they got rag dolled by Duke. That was one muffed punt away from a 20+ point shutout. Clemson will win some games because the ACC isn't that great, but that program is in a lot of trouble.

Frankly, I would add that an entire magic portal team goes into TCU stadium and takes their manhood.

I think the fact that LSU just plain quit in the fourth quarter should be a concern for Kelly.

Pretty much all of this. I think it was also the way in which LSU lost, just completely clueless and unable to stop FSU in the second half.

But also, factor in that LSU was riding a pretty good wave of popularity and good vibes in the media after winning the Women's Basketball Championship and the College World Series.
It had the potential to be yet another "good thing" for LSU, on a prime-time game that most everyone was watching.
So from that standpoint, it's some good publicity that "could have been."

Shane Beamer with his postgame, babylike antics

he didnt do anything wrong tho...people want to take one clip of a 20 minute press conference. its especially weird after he spent the prior 10-15 blaming himself, the coaches, etc.

Who started in a better position?

I think LSU lost the most. They were expected to be much improved this year. They were considered a top 5 team and many legitimately thought they would contend for a national championship.

They didn’t just lose on a primetime nationally spotlighted game, they got their doors blown off. They appeared to lay down and quit at the first sign of adversity in the second half. They appeared to be physically outmatched in the second half. While Jayden Daniels was not horrible, he didn’t show improvement from the end of last year. Their supposed best defensive player was a complete non-factor.

And they really aren’t in a better position. LSU has almost no room for error now. A two loss team may be able to slip into the playoffs. But they may not. Alabama certainly did not last year, even though both their losses were on the last play of the game to top 10 teams on the road. For LSU to guarantee themselves a spot in the playoffs, they have to go undefeated the rest of the way, including the SEC championship game. That is a tall order. Especially with how they looked in the second half of their game, and the comments made post game by unnamed coaches and players. LSU is in the exact same position as Clemson. They both need to go undefeated the rest of the way to control their own destiny.

Blaming the chain gang was ridiculous. Shane is totally losing it. You lost, man. Stop whining. You are looking like an absolute idiot.
And what’s with all the head scratching? Has he got lice or something?

I think clempsom lost the most due to getting drummed for their worst loss against an unranked Duke team. Imagine coming into the season with high hopes and being snuffed out the first game.

At least lsu lost to a respectable team on the road. That can happen to a good team as evidenced by Bama losing close road games to 10rc and lsu last year.. but they didn’t get hammered in either one.
