Clemson - Duke? Seriously?
LSU - Prison yard gang raping, but at least to a really good team.
SoCar - Very underwhelming, but NC better than expected
Florida - Very underwhelming, but Utes better than expected

I'd say USCe but can't lose what you didn't have (which is apparently an OL).

No one wants to hear it bc it's fun to shite on lsu but they lost the least amount of respect plus fsu is non con. Lsu can still lose one more game and as long as they win the sec(still a very tall order) they are in the playoffs. This is the most likely team to turn it around.

Clemson lost the most respect and a conference game in a division less conference. Clemson has to run the table with fsu unc notre dame still left(yikes looking real 8-4) Duke game was a lot of self inflicted wounds that came at pivotal moments. Could still turn it around.

Usce had good quarterback play, and fight, thier trenches are just so bad on both sides of the ball they'll need rattler to ball out every game just to make a bowl. It'll be close to impossible to turn this around when you can't stop the run or protect your qb. You can tweak olines a little with different combos but usually leads to very modest improvements, bad dline is what is in college football you either have talent thier or don't

Sunbelt Billy getting fired, they're usce without fight or a quarterback

LSU lost first weekend imo because no one thinks Clemson is good anyways. FSU bent LSU over on prime time on a Sunday for everyone to see.

LSU - they were supposed to challenge for a playoff spot. Not an auspicious beginning.

I can agree with your choices but the order is wrong: #1 is a LSU, Clemson tie.

All the DVs..

LSU still sits at 14 in both polls. Florida will lose 4-5 more games and Clemson nearly dropped out of the T25 and is in a one bid playoff ACC. And USCe will lose 3-4 more.

Who is still in a better position?

SCar was favored and Beamer blamed the chain crew for eating hot dogs during halftime as to why they lost.

This decline has more to do with a defense that can't steal signals any longer in Venables.

Cliff Notes?
I looked it up. Apparently he complained about the guys who moved the chains eating hotdogs at halftime or something.

How can he be expected to coach in those conditions?

You know, I was disappointed too. I was expecting a smack-down.

I'm sure LSU will recover and have a fine season, but it looked like the coaches got off the bus from the hotel and were like "Ok who we playing tonight ?"

Beamer really did. Now that is one funky excuse! At least it was original. Never heard that one before

Dave Aranda. He lost his starting QB, lost confidence in firing Grimes over the summer, lost opportunity to raid the portal, and we can already chalk up this coming Saturday as a loss to Utah.

Big12 glasses on, but a team that was once defined only by snap count and scoreboard (Briles) became a new identity under a slowed game and disciplined defense (Rhule). Big swinging DC himself (Aranda) inhereted it, and it looks like he's since lost his own identity.

Edit: By comparison, it wasn't LSU because that was a non-conference game and given the number of trips to the red zone, the second half would have played out far different if LSU's receivers hadn't exited the locker room with the yips.

And I think Beamer lost any pretense of being a good guy or a good sport.
He worked so hard refining his image and BOOM! Totally gone

Are you talking about the hotdog ref remark or did he do something else?

I mean what more is there to say after a game like that? "I thought our QB did a great job dealing with contact"
