The generational gap is a fair argument.

I'd argue further that Bama fans would be the only fanbase outside of Tennessee that would actually cherish SEC History/Nostalgia like Neyland.

Hell, y'all probably cherish Majors more than younger Tennessee fans.

Stoops at Kentucky. What he did with Lynn Bowden and the last couple of years has been very impressive.

Really old school dan mcgougin of Vanderbilt. He still owns the record for most wins at vandy. John heisman wasn’t bad either

For the win, I would go Erk Russell. Should be in the college football hall of fame.
If we're talking about assts., too, I'll throw in Ken Donahue.

The best way to see a coach is underrated is to see what he did when he left the SEC.

16-2 in the playoffs and 3 national championships. And he did that at a program that didn't play football for 40 years before he arrived.

He is in the Georgia sports hall of fame, alabama sports hall of fame, and Florida-Georgia hall of fame.

And it's amazing how underrated he is in how a lot of people seem to call for his downfall. It just doesn't happen. This man is blessed.

Tubbs at Ole Miss

We had a multi year TV ban and the worst penalties the NCAA had ever handed down outside of the Death Penalty. And he still got us to multiple bowl games and winning seasons.

Based on his time at Kentucky I didn't see a whole lot out of Bill Curry. He kept switching offensive schemes and had the wrong personnel to run them. When I saw Tim Couch running an option against Florida and getting the keerap beat out of him I had it with Curry.

Stoops runs rings around Curry.
