Which coach in your opinion always seemed to get the ball to bounce his way?

Gene Chizik. And it’s not even close. The guy couldn’t coach to save his life but he had Cam Newton and that’s all he needed to win a national championship.

Nick Saban

Got to play LSU twice in 2011, didn't even win his division last year but won the natty, 14-13 vs Arkansas in '14, etc.

Les Miles

Took over what saban built and lucked into a BCS Title with 2 loses. Constantly had a horseshoe up his arse. It eventually felt out tho.

That's not lucky. That's hard work.

Yeah but Les kept bringing in the type of players he needed to put them in position even with his questionable coaching until he just became too much. I don't really remember but was Gene respected as much in terms of recruiting? Obviously, Auburn had some great players during his coaching tenure.

Anyone except Georgia. They are never lucky.

And judging by their fan base, they are all too deserving of their luck.

Since 1936 only one coach has won a national title without winning his conference

Nick Saban

So luck equates to you recruiting great players?

Saban, but I wouldn't necessarily call getting bullshite penalties called/not called "luck".

He still needed all the luck in the world to overcome his own terrible coaching. Only that guy could nearly sabotage the talent advantage he almost always had.
