The fact you don't know Jim Donnans name of the talent he left Richt shows you're really not qualified to answer this question.

Donnan wasn't fired because of recruiting. He was a great recruiter. He was fired because his teams were loaded with talent and his records never matched their talent.

Greene, Pollack, Stinchcomb and the entire OL. Baileys, Edwards, Musa.

That entire team was led by Donnan recruits. But that’s ok, Richt did what Donnan couldn’t. The 2000 team was more talented and sucked.

Donnan recruits accounted for 1 first rounder in 2002, 2 first rounders in 2003, 1 in 2004, and 1 in 2005

Uga had many more total draft picks in 2002 and 2003 than we had in 2017 and 2018.

No just two.
We had two of the top 20 picks, 4 of the top 37, and 7 total that year.

Tillman didn't even have the opportunity to post and completely derail the direction of it. What a shame.

Why do Georgia fans think playing a road game at ND or beating ND is a big deal?

It hasn’t been a big deal to beat ND in like 20 years

ND is a relic of a program. A has been. It isn’t a big deal to play them or beat them.

I love that 2002 team for what they were able to accomplish, but they were really fortunate they didn't lose more than just the Florida game. They played tight most of the season and didn't start to look like a complete team until they'd finally won the East.

They were both great seasons for each coach. Kirby gets the edge IMO because of the SEC championship revenge and the semifinal win.

They finished the year ranked 11. It’s the best true road win for any SEC team in 2017.
We had a True Freshman QB starting his first Game at ND, under the lights on National TV and we had as many fans there as they did.
It was an incredible road win for the team and fans.

Don't bother. He's just a troll who is obsessed with posting about Georgia. I bet he's friends with Giant Leaf irl.

You realize it is 2018. Plenty of teams play on national tv every weekend now. Why are you guys stuck in 1980? Times change. ND is mediocre and hasn’t won shite in 30 years.

Yeah. The 2002 squad had 9 all conference (1st or 2nd team) players. The only one recruited by Richt was Pollack.

I think Richt had a little more talent left by Donnan than Richt left Smart.
(Smart had 7 players on the 2 deep all conference. Smart brought in JR Reed and Mecole Hardman)

The offense was horrid vs uf 2002. Kicker also sucked. It was a big time choke.

Ok but it was still best road win by any sec team in 2017. Jake Fromm was still a True Freshman and it was still his first start. We still invaded their place like no one but Nebraska ever has..and you are still a flaming a-hole.
