Why do Georgia fans think playing a road game at ND or beating ND is a big deal?
It hasn’t been a big deal to beat ND in like 20 years
ND is a relic of a program. A has been. It isn’t a big deal to play them or beat them.

In before LSU fans agree to disagree

Georgia’s coach pre Richt didnt leave him with near the talent that Richt left Smart.

What? That's just flat out wrong. 02 team is arguably the most talented team, especially defense, we've ever had.

Hate to ruin the narrative...

That 2002 year screwed UGA fans up for almost a decade. They kept telling themselves they were next in line. Then LSU came, then Flordia, then LSU, then Florida, then Bama, then auburn, then Bama a bunch more times.

UGA never learns that you can't wait for your time to come, you have to take it.

That gets you suspended at FSU? Clearly that was before Jimbo's reign.

He may have overslept and missed his test, I can't remember exactly but I remember the photo a professor took of Rix in the handicap spot.

Rose Bowl vs Oklahoma better win than Sugar Bowl vs FSU with Anquan Boldin as qb. Different times. Being in the playoffs trumps being in Sugar Bowl.
Look, I think Kirby was more impressive, but your logic is terrible.

Your 02 team would have been in a playoff as well. Yall were #3 heading into the bowl games in 2002

the regular season AU game was a pretty bad loss - we got dominated

I'm not talking about the score, I'm talking about the validity of the loss.

We lost on the road to a team ranked #2 the following week, that was 1 win away from making the playoffs. That's a "good loss". Compare that to 02's loss which we had zero business whatsoever losing, which was an atrocious loss.

Go take a gander at who just left. Best RB duo you ever had, best LB you've ever had. Yeah the cupboard was bare

That is flat out sad. That 02 defense is really one your most talented?

I didn't say the cupboard was bare. I did say that Donnan actually left Richt with a better overall roster than Richt left Kirby.

The OL situation alone is enough to justify that.

Not sure what's sad about that. It was loaded.

Loaded is having an NFL starter at every position and a few all pros, or for at least elite schools that is loaded.

but Richt's 2nd year was a turning point for the program - take that away and we are where Tennessee is today

The question is who has the better year, not which was more important.

then I still say Richt's 2002

1 loss by 7 in a game we could have won vs 1 loss by 23 where we got our shite pushed in

I can think of like 2 SEC defenses since 2000 that were actually like that.

The uf loss was also terrible but for different reasons.

2017 had much better wins

I think that guy is a ms state fan, he's not used to having successful football teams. Just let him keep rolling.
