All this movement and it just seems like the Pac 12 will implode and the Big 12 will just end up a slightly better Conference USA. Who will be the Big 12's top football power at the end of the day? TCU... Oklahoma St? No one near blue blood status there.

Pretty clear we're headed to 2 major super conferences like the NFC and AFC in the NFL. I don't like it at all, but the SEC will have to react if for nothing else than to protect the home turf. That's why bringing in FSU, UNC, UVA and either Clemson or NC State makes sense. Geography matters to me, but apparently not to TPB. But I'd still like the SEC to stay rational with geographic footprint...unlike the Big Ten.

Sorry Bama, no LSU or Auburn on the schedule this year. Y’all are playing UNC and NC State in November! How fun!

Kansas is still gonna be king in basketball.

In football I'm not sure. I don't know if there will be 1 singular elite team that wins it most years, which could honestly make it even more fun due to the unpredictability of it year to year.

If it went to such a format then theoretically the cupcake games would go bye bye.

If Utah ends up there it will be between Utah, Okie Lite, and TCU.

If Utah goes, then I think it's quite likely that the Utes end up on top.

I think Arizona State's is a place with a lot of undeveloped potential.

TCU, Texas Tech & UCF should be the alphas. Add Utah to that list if they join.

I give UCF a shot. Gus' O is good if you don't know it. Give them a few years of seeing the same plays over and over and things change.

TCU, Baylor, OSU? lmao.

KSU has the most conference wins once OU and UT leave. They just won the conference with an average recruit ranking of 55. Chris Klieman is building a really solid program there.

Look for KSU to be one of, if not the elite football school in the new Big12. Utah isnt going to do jack in the new Big12. the Pac12 was the softest P5 conference by far. For reference their SOS in 2022 was #42. KSU was #4.

Its going to be ruled by KSU, MAYBE OSU, and possibly one of the Texas schools. TCU had a flukey 2022. They had six games where they injured the starting QB. Dykes is a good coach, but he isnt elite and will doubtfully ever get them back to where they were in 2022.

Oklahoma State has the best facilities in the Big12, we’re the only school where the athletic department has more power than our president.
We just received another $120million from TBoone’s trust fund and are working on a $340 million athletic village expansion.

Pac12 schools look like my Houston highschool facilities.

Lol we have bigger donors than half of your conference, including the biggest in CFB history and his trust fund (his son runs it, just received another $120 million). We also have better athletic facilities/villages than 80% of your conference.

What do you think Oklahoma State could become with the TV money Mississippi St makes? We’re building one of the first football operation centers next to our indoor stadium which we’ve had for 10 years.

We’re 19th in media views over the past 10 years, well above 50% of your conference. More people watch OSU Vs Texas and/or Bedlam than the Red River Rivalry the past few years. We haven’t had a losing season since 2006 my friend.

Completely agree. National media doesn’t realize this but TCU barely played anyone with their starting QB. And they still had a lot of close calls.

TCU also had a ton of seniors, including 8 who got drafted.

But thats how small programs do it. They coach up some 3 stars and every 3 or 4 years they got an experienced squad that can make a run.
