This one I never understood. Florida State would seem a natural fit for the SEC. How come this never happened?
Because FSU and Bowden were a bunch of scared little bitches.

I think the SEC needs to go rob the Big 10 and snatch USC and UCLA away from them to add some sparkle, glamour and pizzaz to our conference.

South Eastern Conference. It’s already gone too far west. Raid the ACC for UNC, Virginia, FSU, then take Maryland.

People overcomplicate this discussion. Clemson and FSU are home runs and would easily be welcomed. Cultural and geographic fits with powerhouse title winning football teams that would be a marquee game on any schedule. Of course they are in.
Beyond that we take a NC and VA school depending on which ones choose the Big Ten (NC or NC St, UVA or VaTech).

That's crazy if true. I bet the people at Florida St today are kicking themselves. They now make less than UCF even though FSU is the biggest program in the state.

The Sorbonne, Trinity College in Dublin, San Diego State, and University of Hawaii.

We can't even figure out how to make 16 teams work and people are talking about going to 20.

The problem with adding FSU and Clemson is the schedule is already stupid hard
Need decent brands that when are winning are respectable but not heavyweights

I'm tired of them having a cakewalk schedule though.

Clemson and VT. They are the most SEC like schools in the ACC

The Acc and Pac are both on borrowed time and will be easy pickings.
Also, why does the SEC not expand west? There are several schools left that would be good additions to the SEC.
We did expand west. We took Missouri.

We want the SEC to show Arkansas the damn door. These sows have been worthless.

You're making a big mistake in thinking that OSU or KU are big rivalries for Oklahoma. It's not a real rivalry when Oklahoma leads OSU 91–19–7. The OU Kansas series is a bit better but it's still 80-27-6. OU is currently on a 18 game winning streak against KU.

May as well become two separate conferences if it expands again.
