After yesterday’s win, Shane Beamer now has more road top 25 wins in his coaching career than Lane.

Discuss.

Lane. Shane's career highlight reel is two wins versus Clemson, a drubbing of Tennessee and a mayonnaise bath in Charlotte.

Both are doing exactly what I want them to do so it’s all good.

Neither.

Beamer passed through Athens as an assistant and was not well thought of here.

Lane can't get out of his own way.

Beamer without a second thought.

Cheaper buyout if I change my mind.

His teams play tough.

Even one of the best in Spurrier could get to 11 wins, while playing the weaker side of the conference. Beamer hasn't gotten that far, but he's gotten to 9 while not playing on the easier schedule.

And while USCs NIL is respectable, it's still like 20% less in addition to other value like facilities.

So he's I would say above average. And people get better in time usually.

Beamer doesn't make everything about him and cause drama in the off season for no fricking reason or benefit.

Won't frick you over as much as possible like some entitled bimbo.

I'm not saying I expect Beamer to win championships, but the choice is easy.

Have to respectfully disagree.

Beamer is a rah rah coach who overachieved in '24.

I don't think he's that good of a coach. He's made good hires but he's also blown some. Prime example would be Shula as OC last year. Also, the "positives" of Beamer Ball are more than offset by the more frequent negative results

I think he can be a good coach. But he was never even a coordinator before we hired him. He was the tight ends coach at Oklahoma.

Right now, he should be cutting his teeth in the Sun Belt or the MAC. Not learning on the fly in the SEC.

Every LSU fan would take LK, and every SC fan would take LK.

Ole Miss fans are the only ones that can’t see it. But they also seem to think PG is the second coming of Saban…

But the other guy is Lane Kiffin.

Oh, fudge...

Forgot it was a multiple choice question...

Lane is a confused man-child. He doesn't know what he wants.

He would have been smart to sit tight a Ole Miss. His ongoing drama is pitiful...

So my answer is: neither

When Beamer is let go for the bargain basement price of $22.1M, just promote Briles and hope for the best

Wrong. Beamer is loyal to the program and players to a fault and Lane is loyal only to Lane. I wouldn't trust Lane in a sh*thouse with a muzzle on as the old saying goes. He will abandon LSU at the first NFL offer. Then you guys will hate him just like Tennessee fans, Raider fans, So. Cal fans and Ole Miss fans. It's coming.
