Regarding Kickapoo, not so much in football anymore. For Springfield, I’d put Glendale in front of Kickapoo.
For SW Missouri, the factory schools are Webb City (16 state championships since 1989), Carthage, Joplin, and Nixa.
Right now, the schools outside of Springfield have the advantage over the ones inside the city limits. Increasing population and more money for athletics.
Couple years ago, Nixa hired a coach out of Mississippi and he’s gotten them to the next level.

Katrina did a number on Louisiana recruiting for a long time. NOLA kids migrated over to the Baton Rouge area and eastern Texas.
But, now, the NOLA public schools are coming back strong and coupled with the NOLA “Catholic League (Jesuit, Shaw, StAug, etc) NOLA is as strong as ever.
That said, state talent is perhaps more widespread than ever. In northern La., West Monroe, Neville and Ruston consistently produce at least one stud a year. And Shreveport schools are back on the radar.
Central La. is still under populated and the numbers just aren’t there. However, South Louisiana/Acadiana is having a Renaissance of skill talent with Lafayette Christian, Acadiana High and Westgate in New Iberia spitting out 5-stars.
Southwest La. is still down a bit except for Barbe. Also lacking is the river/bayou areas around Houma/Thibodaux.
Greater Baton Rouge is hotter than ever, led by Catholic High, Zachary, Walker and sometimes the Gonzales area.
Southeastern area produces some stellar talent but the numbers aren’t there yet. Except for the Northshore area of Mandeville/Covington/Slidell, the eastern area is sparsely populated.
LSU coach Brian Kelly has to be excited right now with the depth of state talent. Louisiana is loaded — but the Bama’s, A&Ms and Georgias are well aware of this. I figure Texas and OU will be here soon, too.

They do produce some good players but nothing crazy. Tyler Wilson, Drew Morgan and Grant Morgan
They are one of best player developers in the state. They get into football at an early age and are fully developed entering high school.

Amazing how huge HS FB is in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area and how many
great players come out of there.
Saban and Kirby have always hit the area hard.

Texas, Florida, Georgia responders, keep it to a top 25 if you can...
There's going to be a lot of people clammoring for Texas, but I would like to say Aledo is very underrated as a program...
I'm heading out now

Is Shaw bouncing back? Would love to see the Catholic league really return with Jesuit, BM, St. Aug, Rummel, and Shaw. Some great matchups in all sports.

They won a total of 30 state titles.
They started the decline after 2004 with the rest of Little Rock metro. That gave rise to Fayetteville and Bentonville.
Then it began to shift back and Bryant has won state five years in a row.

Most D1 talent comes from St Louis and KC metro. St Louis private schools have had most of the talent over the last 5 to 10 years.
Top programs
Webb City (ranked the 4th best small town program in the country)
Kearny
STL Schools
CBC
DeSmet
Vianney
Francis Howell
Ladue Horton Watkins
Hazelwood
Kirkwood
KC Area
Rockhurst
Public schools in KC suburbs
-Liberty
-Blue Springs
-Lee Summit
-Fort Osage
-Smithville
-Harrisonville
-Ray-Pec
Good Programs
Carthage
Jackson
Jeff City in the 80’s and 90’s
Small schools
Lamar
Valle Catholic
Lamar has went to 10 state championships in the last 12 years and won 8.
Webb City is a town of 10,000 and has the best program in the state with 16 state championships. Webb has produced more FBS and NFL players than most schools(outside of STL and KC metro) Have been ranked in the MaxxPreps top 50 a few times in the past 10 years. Coach is ranked in the top 40 All-Time high school coaches. One of only 5 coaches All-Time with a winning percentage over 90%. We probably had between 30 and 40 kids playing in college last year and 1 in the NFL.

Did you seriously put Riverside and Wade Hampton on this list but no Clinton? What have I missed here?
