The UAA is a bigger rival to Gator athletics than UGA

If it were up to the uaa we’d still have mid major Mike white as our basketball coach and we’d be garbage in all major sports. Thankfully UGA picked him up from us (and was actually a good hire for them too so win-win) which allowed us to have the possibility of not sucking at everything like the UAA wants

To be honest, as much BS as there is with the Egg Bowl, LSU is our biggest rival. There's been far fewer sell-out games for the Egg Bowl as compared to the Magnolia Bowl. Over my life, the LSU game is always a much bigger game to us. State is our rival simply because we share a state with them but LSU is the team that our fanbase wants to beat more.

I've never understand why people can't understand why in state rivalries and border rivalries cannot be compared directly in terms of who is "the biggest" rival... if a team has both.

For Kentucky fans, our most hated conference rival is Tennessee.

Vol fans are going to tell you they hate Alabama the most in football, and us the most in basketball.

Most UK fans are going to tell you they hate Tennessee the most in football and Louisville the most in basketball.

So we don't really apply.

Opposing fanbases don't remember someone who says "Good game guys, you'll get them next year."

And most of the good posters don't post a lot.

Texas- Texas A&M (I'm not sure if this is bigger than OU-TX because of its discontinuation. Are Texas fans split on this? I would assume both OU and A&M would say it's Texas)

Texas- OU would both agree that we are each others biggest rival. But it’s complicated on both sides by the secondary rivals that are both heated and historic.

OU-Nebraska was huge, and OSU is their Aggie.

If you are a Horn or Arkansas fan of a certain age, that particular rivalry was every bit as strong as TX-OU and actually more important.

Texas-A&M would be the number one rivalry if it weren’t for the fact that we downplay it because it drives Aggie nuts. But rest assured when we lose to Aggie it’s far more meaningful than anyone lets on.

I have faith that someday, somehow, the opposing fanbases on this board will suddenly realize that RETARDED LSU fans outnumber the rest of you combined, and that's why you see a lot of RETARDED LSU posts about everyone and everything.
