To me, I think it's gotta be Mississippi State. It seems to me that most posters here are expecting little drop-off despite Mullen leaving and to finish 2nd or 3rd in the West, whereas I've got them at 5th.

LSU is probably a close 2nd with a lot of posters expecting 10-2 while 7-5 or 8-4 is a more likely result.

A&M would be a good candidate but their fans seem to have tempered expectations for year 1 with a wait-and-see approach. While expectations for the future are definitely high, that doesn't really seem to be the case for the immediate future.

Who do you have?

If we’re judging entire fanbases by a couple of rantards, then this thread doesn’t bode well for Tiger Nation.

What are you talking about?

Didn’t you hear they already beat UGA by 50 and put half the starters in the ER.

The answer is almost always LSU. The fans are just delusional. LSU bread and butter is defense and running the ball. That star RB isn't walking through that door.

Add in the schedule sets up to lose bigly.

There is a reason Vegas had the win total at 7.5 and then moved it to 7.0. 6-6 is a lot most likely than 10-2.

Alabama, it is always Alabama

We truly expect to win the National Title every year. Now granted, Alabama has been doing just about that under Coach Saban.

edit to add- although Alabama will win the NC this year

I think you are right with MSU and LSU.

Had we not landed Burrow, it would have been different. That seemed to have sparked a new level of confidence. I am not so sold because our schedule is an absolute gauntlet.

7-5?? Name the losses besides Bama Auburn and uga. Your expectations of new coaches is a little high. Jimbo isn’t coming in and winning 10 games. State won’t be the same without Mullen. Arkansas is down. Please enlighten me why LSU can’t win 9 or 10 games

State followed by USCe. It’s weird around here with Arkansas, Tennessee and LSU fans not blowing up the board about how great they will be .

I think the majority of State fans think 9-3 is the expectation. That matches what we did last year. The 11-1 and 12-0 predictions are troll jobs and really make you look dumb when people take them seriously.

Good thing you get Arkansas.

A&M's DC held LSU to only 17.

Speaking of Arkansas, A&M has gone to OT with Piggy 3 of the last 4 years.

As usual, A&M is all nflsu thinks about. You were probably on the field carrying Les on your shoulders.

LSU has lost to Piggy 2/4 years if you want to use such a time frame

Depends where you go and who you ask.
I bet you'll find some Ole Miss fans out there that think they go to a Bowl.
