My guess would be Elko. He packs up back to RU in NJ where he went to HS and takes 15-30 Aggie players with him to the B1G.

Venables, Sark, or Elko.

It would have been Beamer but he saved his job for the second year in a row.

Lebby gets one more season.

Isn't that the story on every A&M coach in the last... eighty or so years?

I'm thinking Sark is toast. That struggle win vs. Ole Miss and the Tosu win won't be enough if they go 3-2 the rest of the way (two games vs. currently ranked teams and the rivalry game vs. TAMU left). Maybe the win vs. Tennessee will look better than it did at the time when all things are done.

Ofc, firing Sark could mean Arch moves on from UT-Mumbai, either portal or the NFL. Texas has the money to buy him out and find a big name replacement. The question is do you want to hit the reset button and it might be a competitive market for a new coach considering there are already 3x P4 openings.

Beamer went 4-8 last year. How in any way, shape or form is 4-8 saving your job?

Elko just got extended I don't see him getting canned. Depending on how they finish the season Sark is on thin ice. The other is Shane Beamer. Outside of that unless Bama just falls apart to end the season I don't see any Coaches being fired.

I’d say Deboer but they are to poor to fire him

That's a perk to firing Sark imo. Little Homie is soft compared to his uncles and dramatically less talented.

I was thinking of the 2024 season that was good. My mistake. I mean, don't line me up against the wall and firing squad me for getting it wrong.

None. They hold off and see how next year works. Beamer will then need to make the playoff, while the Texas coachs prove they can field viable offenses. Elko in particular will be on a very short leash.

Had me til this part, "takes 15-30 Aggie players with him to the B1G"

You have no understanding of the new college football landscape, Rutgers is not going to outbid someone A&M wants to keep.

Elko will be forced to hire an all new offensive staff and get at least one more year.

If Sark loses to Missouri and LSU he's going to be in boiling hot water. Still think he'll also get another year.

Venables could easily lose 3 more. They've got South Carolina, @Florida, Ole Miss, A&M, and @Missouri left. Texas win doesn't look that great right now and that's his bright spot on the season that would save him. But I still think making the playoff last year and beating Texas is enough. He'll get forced to make changes on offense too.

Wildcard:

Heupel.

If he loses to Kentucky and LSU at home, that fan base will be unhappy. Also has to play @A&M.

That was after Spurrier gave y'all a temporary inflated sense of self worth.

Elko gets $54 mil guaranteed if fired without cause this year. You think he’s going to proactively leave? No way.

I never suggested that 30 would come from the top 70 players on the roster. The roster is 100+ deep. Still, 30 players from the middle-bottom of that roster would be a boom for RU if Aggies part ways with Elko.
