I am guessing Missouri will be one of the schools looking for a HC after this coming season.

If Texas happens to live up to their expectations over the next couple of seasons, Muschamp will become a hot commodity again.

Nothing rehabilitates a coaching career faster than being associated with winning.

Ha ha ha. No way he is going to Missouri. He failed badly and was out to steal from schools that hired him as a HC.

DJ Durkin

He has previous P4 HC experience and has made the Auburn defense better than what it was when he took over.

I have a feeling that Charlie Weis Jr. is going to be a solid head coach someday. He's a good offensive mind and has had a chance to learn under one of the best head coaches in football today in Kiffin. Idk when he'll make the jump, he's only 33 years old so he still has a long time to be a head coach. You gotta feel that someone with as much coaching background as him is gonna take a HC job at some point

One of only four coaches in CFB history that I can remember not completing their second year.

Glenn Shuman will eventually, although it appears some of his shine has worn off lately. It still feels more likely than not that he'll be one some day

Unless Drink is leaving, why?

Weiss will be a head coach somewhere next year.

People who could be candidates next year:

Blake Baker
Buster Faulkner
Glenn Schumann
Kane Wommack

People who could be interim-turned HC:
Zach Arnett

Weis will eventually but not sure it'll be next year. I think Baker is definitely gone.

That's what I was thinking.

IMO, Baker will only go P4. Tulane was a great G5 opportunity and his alma mater, and he passed on it. I think Baker will be a pretty good head coach, the players love him.

Yeah Blake Baker turned down his alma mater Tulane, in part because LSU gave him a raise, but I think really because he thinks he'll get a P4 look. Fail as HC at Tulane and you may never see a P4 job.

Really curious how he does under Kiffin. We're talented, but Kiffin has only had one great defense in his career and some really bad ones along the way. Hopefully we can control TOP enough with his offense to let the defense do their thing.
