This year's team looked like crap for the last month and a half of the season. Even in the regional... they didn't look all that great until game three... an elimination game against the Citadel. So this team you are seeing now has played eight games looking like this.

we was walking guys like crazy with cam Johnson pitching it’s why the freshman have taken over . Cam hasn’t played in a month and he was our ace to start …. that pretty much sums up why OU lost a lot of series . Batting wise I am not sure what got into them. Coaching looks to be a factor obviously . Right now there is no team better than OU . UGA didnt stand a chance in game 2 . Game 1 that was an every good even game . It’s okay to be good in regular season nothing wrong with winning sec and tourney it’s a great accomplishment .

They've been beating everybody....how does that make them the worst team? If you are going by record during regular season, does that mean UCLA is the best team? GT? Right now, at this point in the season, I would say Oklahoma is at the very least, one of the two best teams. We are quick to accept that teams change, and get better as a season progresses in football, so shouldn't we accep that same thing in baseball?

They currently have one less loss than Ole Miss 2022 did. Now that Ole Miss team has put at least 3 guys in the majors I believe so they obviously weren't as bad as their record.
The baseball postseason is not about deciding the best team. It's about deciding that's playing the most complete ball at the time. Sometimes they are the same but often they are not.

don’t understand all these baseball projections gone wrong … people act like OU doesn’t have as much talent as other teams when in fact OU has more draft picks in baseball than any sec team has lol. This is no fluke beating all these good teams in a row …. i

I have no clue how many future leaguers this OU team has. Was just pointing out that Ole Miss was predicted to be really good in 2022 and had a ton of talent, they just took the month of April off.

Calling them “worst” overlooks one of the most splendid things to watch in all of sports. When a baseball team gets on a hot streak it is a beautiful sight to see! (Unless your team is next to face them)

It can be mind boggling to watch a team that struggled put all the pieces together and make a big run.

This happens all the time in baseball, especially major leagues…2006 cardinals turned into one of the best post season teams ever.

I think ou just got super hot at the right time, that's what is different about baseball. But yeah they don't have the talent some of the other SEC teams had.
