I think he'll have his pick of a number of decent P5 programs, honestly.

He's the epitome of consistency, he can run a decent recruiting operation and a big program, and he can gut out some big wins when the opportunity arises.

TBH I think he'd be an upgrade (at least short term) for all but 25-30 P5 programs.

Tennessee should hire him, they won't. VT fans want him.

Hopefully at Tennessee, we would celebrate 8 wins over the crap show we have endured for two decades. It’s quite clear Pruitt sucks at it

I'm good with that, then we get to stop paying his buyout I believe.

Montana State---buy a few hundred acres north of Bozeman, coach football for 5 or 6 more years and enjoy life.

Probably an offensive consultant at Alabama like everybody else! They just want to be around daddy for a couple of years to rebuild their confidence!
don’t think so, what does Saban want with an offensive analyst that only knows 4 plays and as a coach admits that he doesn’t study anybody else?

B. He is a good coach. Hate his guts, but he is good enough he will be swooped up by someone for sure.

This is correct. People are acting like he's Butch Jones or Matt Luke or something. He'll have plenty of Head P5 offers if he wants them.

There are lot of Arkansas locals who DGAF about duck hunting. He’s from NW Arkansas. Rice fields aren’t in NW Arkansas

This is true. I duck hunted some growing up but it wasn’t the real pit blind flooded grain field type duck hunting because I am from the western part of the state where we would duck hunt ponds, creeks, lakes, etc. And I’ve never been a fan of duck meat.

Now deer and turkey (back in the day) are another story.

Gus will go to a P5 school along the lines of a Texas Tech or NC State. And he’ll do well there.

Gus will be Arkansas coach in 3 years. Bookmark this thread. Pittman will either fizzle and be let go OR be very successful and hired away by bigger program. Gus will then get the call.

Coordinator or asst position for 2 years then back to P5 HC.
In 5 years, he’ll be a hot name again.
