I can’t tell you how many conversations I’ve had with people in Jonesboro who’d rather kill turkeys & big deer than shoot ducks

This isn't fair to Butch.

He was successful at Central Michigan and Cincinnati. He also has the highest winning percentage of any Tennessee coach since Fulmer, took the Vols to more bowls (and won more of them) than the other 3 combined.

The evidence suggests the problem at Tennessee wasn't Butch.

I'll tell you exactly where he ends up:

Coming to Northwest Arkansas and getting his friends to start raising hell for the Hogs to fire Sam Pittman.

Guarantee it.

I thought that was the presidential election map for a second. You know damned well the 6 hour coffee at WH is too damn strong for anyone with a West Coast limp wrist.

He is retired from football and is going to enjoy his life with his family without football!

B and hopefully not in the SEC. I'll never understand why he tried to force a pocket qb into his offense after winning a NC and playing for another with a run first qb.

However he will coach somewhere else.
He is deserving. He just ending up coaching in the Deep end of the pool. Where he is coaching against the best. It's not his fault.
