The players on the 2022 signing class got fricked out of a year of eligibility. Don’t you all fricking get this? Why is this so hard?

Ya see the thing with this ruling is that there is a legit case here to be made that these players were screwed over. A player that voluntarily forfeited their eligibility does not have that same leg to stand on.

Seems like all it takes a single corrupt judge and it opens the gate.

And hey, if you don't do it then someone else will right?

You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Got it.

Wonder why there was no outrage for the first one

1. It's not setting a precedent for future pro players to come back.

2. The rest of the conference didn't vote 15-0 directly against it only to have 1 school say frick the conference.

1 school in the SEC went against the rules and wishes of the other 15 schools in the conference.

The "wishes" that they didn't try to establish until after all this shite had started already.

It’s actually supposed to be hyphenated, since we’re being pedantic.

Short-sighted

Alternatively, you can remove the space as “shortsighted” is also acceptable.

This is the first year the SEC wouldn't allow pro players?

It's always been the rule. They had to clarify the rule due to other rulings.

They did, LSU said frick the conference.

Hard to say, considering Stankey has no idea what the 5 for 5 rule is.

Can’t wait until a 3rd year player leaves early for the NFL.. doesn’t get drafted where he wants.. and gets a better NIL offer to come back.. the NFL will surely love that too..

In that case the player forfeited their eligibility. The Bediako case already set the precedent on this scenario.

That is completely different. In that case the guy was told BEFORE the draft that he could STAY and PLAY one more year but HE decided not to knowing the rule. In this case, the NCAA made a retroactive rule prohibiting the 2022 class from playing their 5 of 5 year.

That's not what Bama fans said in regards to the pro basketball player they brought in last season.

Round and round we go!

So what? He wants to come back, and the precedent has already been set that the NCAA is not allowed to enforce a rule about eligibility when it comes to pro players.

It's funny that you believe suddenly there will be a rule that sticks. When all that's needed is a shady judge and a shady school to take the pro because "if we don't do it, someone else will".

Let me guess, you were claiming he should be able to play right?

Judges should not be deciding eligibility period.

"Well, they allowed it last year" and the sport gets fricked again.

LSU did not make the rule ...Quit blaming LSU...
I hate the rule...I hate what they did to college football. What will it take for you'll LSU bashers to understand that.

Nobody forced LSU to take the players.

You went against the conference rules, of which just recently voted 15-0 to ban this practice.

I don't think you guys understand what is happening here. This is the first time in the entire history of the SEC a school has done this. It's not about the court case and who is eligible. It's about you directly ignoring the conference rules and using the courts to bypass them.

Again, it's unprecedented in the entire history of the SEC.

You are in the equivalent of an open rebellion against the conference.
