No I don’t believe this is the last of it but you are comparing two different situations. Stop blaming LSU for the mess and blame the NCAA because that is who caused it. The SEC selectively choosing to sue LSU over this is ridiculous especially considering that it failed to take the same action against Alabama after it played an NBA G league player with three years of experience.

Let me guess, you were claiming he should be able to play right?

Nope, because he decided to forgo his remaining college eligibility knowing that he had another year of eligibility.

Same thing the RJ Luis kid who just signed with LSU basketball did, and I don't think he should be allowed to play either.

Agreed. RJ should not be allowed to play and neither should all of the other players who played in the G League.

the argument of the 5 for 5 would no longer apply, so the players would have no argument

I don't think you guys understand.
I don't think your commissioner understands the rules or what a pro or amateur is.

So you’re allowing players to fake sicknesses to get a sixth year isn’t setting a precedent??

LSU is the first school in the history of the SEC to directly go against the rules and try this kind of stuff.

It's not so much about the court ruling it's about LSU defying the rest of the conference.

It's YOUR commissioner too.

You are a voluntary member of the SEC and the only school in the entire history of it to try and force the SEC and its members into rules they did not support.

You broke rule #1.

2022 was only one year so we’re probably good.

What is there to prevent players with eligibility left who get cut from practice squads next year from finding another coonass judge to grant them a TRO?

If a league can’t make rules then what good is a league?

Why is that guy a pro and the one on the team making $5m nil not?

A choice that this year’s group of 4th year seniors were never given.

Nor were they given eligibility under the 5 for 5 rule regardless of professional status.

Do college baseball players declare for the draft, then have the choice of staying in college or leaving?
