I don’t think Louisiana Lagniappe would even crack my top 5 restaurants in BR

Looks like the author likes expensive signage sans a few.

Also, does anyone remember the extremely nerdy John Clayton nfl analyst?

I wil never forget when mark packer had him on talking about best food in ACC/SEC Country. Talked about barbecue and fried chicken. Then he asked Clayton:

Packer: “John, what’s your favorite pregame - tailgating restaurant in the country?”

Clayton: “Wild Ginger in Seattle. Best soup I....have....ever....had....”

Packer: “(pause)......really?”“

Clayton: “oh yes, every time I get to the northwest I get a reservation”

Louisiana Lagniappe has a 16 oz. Ribeye or N.Y. strip covered in mushrooms, then a coating of mozzarella cheese, finished off with a very generous helping of lump crab meat. That topped off with a huge slice of warm bread pudding covered in a thick, warm praline rum sauce.

Cravings is amazing, but Avenue Pub is better.

Louisiana Lagnaippe is a high quality restaurant. Not the best in town imho, but very good and very consistent. My Uncle is a pastry chef and lives in Nancy, France and I took him there and he loved it. So I'll allow this.

Upvote for avenue pub. Southern ale house is great. Inisfree is a bar with amazing food. Chucks fish is great. Cravings is great. Archibalds for great bbq. Of course, city cafe but it’s in northport.

Wait, there’s a Johnny’s Pizza in BR now? Love that place. We always get it when we visit the in-laws in Funroe.

We have at least 5 restaurants in Baton Rouge that are superior to any restaurant in any SEC college town.

The Athens pick is not bad. For a shitty clickbait article, it was actually a decent pick. Not my favorite, but a very good restaurant.

What is it with people from Louisiana, the food is good, but their are plenty of fine restaurants in the Major Cities of the Sec.
