TBH Shough probably needed the time on the sideline. Preseason and Camp was too fast for him. At least now he knows what game prep looks like. Trial and error with his first game and then a bye coming up to unpack his training wheels experience.

There is a reason Shough lost the QB battle most days in camp, in preseason.

Rattler can not be much better this year than he what he has shown so far and that still is not a guy you want to pencil in as your 2026 Starter

Shough needs to show he can improve week to week and get better. You only get better by playing. Moore is not watching this week between who should be starting.

He is seeing if Shough can actually develop or Saints are going QB again in the draft
