Oh, and my answer to this question is this:

The awesome thing about this picture is that the girl on the right (you know, the one in sunglasses) is also an Arkansan, and one you can be pretty proud of. At least I am.

Having better roads than any other SEC state because we actually spent our appointed money on highways to nowhere instead of building up our football stadiums. I hate that

Actually this something to be PROUD of for the courage this woman showed. The Bus Boycott was non-violent protest. I was ashamed of why it occurred, bull conner was an embarrassment, blocking the school house door is embarrassing, the Bombing of Churches and the murder of children is something to be ashamed of.

currently its our tool bag politicians who are trying to get rid of all critical thinking in our educational system due to the fear it potentially causes kids to question their fixed beliefs and parental authority.

Missouri has them too.

You know, if you teach kids what sex is, they might have it. They'd never figure that stuff out on their own, right? Because you know, sex only occurs between married people, or at least it should, any any girl who has sex before her wedding night is just a slut. Boys will be boys though. And for heaven's sake, God forbid we tell them what a condom is, or where to get one! Because the only reason for sex is procreation, and we surely don't want that until they're married. But, if the girl is slutty enough to have sex and get pregnant, even if she was raped by her one-eyed, meth-mouth, inbred uncle, well, then, that's just her problem and she should be ashamed. Her parents obviously didn't raise her right. Boys will be boys, though.

Sorry for the sarcastic rant. That attitude embarrasses me about Missouri. Along with meth. And billboards that advertise sex shops all along I-70.

Why would you be embarrassed of a place you willingly choose to live in? If you are not proud of it, move to a place you can be proud of.
