DMAC is a product of Little Rock; your name is a product of DMAC; therefore your name is a product of Little Rock

Drove OTR for 10 years so

Louisiana has by far the worst drivers I've ever seen.

this. Not sure why.

And the constant construction

I think it is a mandate that a 3 month road construction project is not to be ended before 12 years. Again, not sure why.

quote:

Frodo Baggains traveled to Mordor on better paved roads.

For state highways and interstate Louisiana and Arkansas are the worst. Texas is outstanding.

Subjective , although I'll take your word for it. I have to admit MI's drivers are getting worse and worse, IMHO.

And the constant construction from Slidell to Baton Rouge

I'm sure it sucks, like any other place. SE michigan has been fricking pathetic with this since April. Seems like every damn major road has orange barrel after orange barrel. Ann Arbor, the Detroit suburubs, all over the place just sucks arse.

Oh hell...

The Clinton Library is actually a pretty awesome piece of architecture, IMO.

I'm most embarrassed that people have the mindset that they would see a trailer in the Clinton Library's architecture. That kind of shite....

Really with this? I know you are obviously biased towards Arkansas but take off your razorback red shaded glasses for one second and actually look at the damn building. It has nothing to do with a "mindset". It has to do with the building looking like a fricking single-wide trailer home.

I've had at least a half dozen people tell me that first thing they saw when going over the bridge was "that building that looks like a giant trailer home".

ook this up and did some reading. It's crazier than our kind of crazy...and that's saying somethin'.

The Mormons were uber-crazy and topped it all by murdering a wagon train of Arkansas pioneers on their way to California 19 years after the Hauns Mill incident in Missouri.

120 men women and children were murdered. Some say it was retribution for the death of a mormon polygamist prophet named Parley Pratt who seduced a married woman into becoming his 12th wife. Unfortunately for him the husband (Hector Mclean) caught up with him and killed him in Western Arkansas. This happened a few months before the "Massacre at Mountain Meadows" .

Mormons be crazy too

SEC country really is an interesting study in duality. We've got some of the fattest, laziest people, yet have produced some of the most skilled athletes in the world. We've got corrupt, dumb-as-rocks politicians, just like we've got a legacy of honest, hard working politicians. We have shitty public schools and a dumb populace, but have produced some of the finest writers, artists, and thinkers in American history. We have obesity problems and public nutrition crises, just as we have some of the most unique culinary traditions in the world.

It's crazy, really.

These efforts have continued down through the present day. When bones of the victims were unexpectedly uncovered in 1999, then-governer of Utah Mike Leavitt directed state officials to find administrative or other means to make sure that they were reburied as quickly as possible and before they could be studied. Leavitt is himself a direct descendant of one of the Mormon killers who participated in the slaughter at Mountain Meadows.

I remember when this happened back in 1999. That's really low.
