What set of boosters is worse Tex AM or Auburn?

At AM you got 50 Jerry Jones types trying to run the program and all of them think money wins championships.
At Auburn you got Jimmy Rane and the Harbert Construction family.
Jimmy Rane controls and attempts to run Auburn football like a mafia boss.

This is stupid.
Jimbo has zero interference from boosters and a blank check.
The Barn and A&M scenarios are total opposites.
Harsin has boasters interfering while Jimbo remains unchecked.
Not close to the same situation other than both ADs made horrible decisions and should be held accountable.

Yeah, seems like opposite situations.
Since Texas A&M joined the SEC, it seems like the boosters have held up their end of the bargain and then some, giving the athletic department everything it could possibly need to win.

Two totally separate styles. One is hands off/throw money at the program, the other is micro-manage it. Both highly dysfunctional.

Texas A&M
The boosters did whatever they could to drive Kellen Mond out of town and start Haynes King in 2020. This despite the fact that Kellen Mond is now the winningest qb in Texas a&m history and, in spite of the collective fanbase's hatred, delivered the single best season all of Texas a&m men's athletics has ever achieved.
And now we've seen what Haynes King is capable of.
I'm sure there's another valid reason why the boosters and fanbase wanted Haynes instead, but I can't qWHITE put my finger on it

At Auburn the money men want ownership of the program in return for their money. They get involved in all decisions and more or less think they should be able to run the athletic department (at least the parts they care about) the way they see fit.
At A&M they money men all say, "What's that? You need fifty million dollars to hire a suspect coach? Ok, let me get my checkbook. Oh, an extra million to help 'sponsor' recruits? Just chuck another zero on there for me, it's cool. What about sucking dick? Do you need me to suck anyone's dick? You know, to, uh, help us win."

IF I'm opening my wallet and giving millions to a cause, I want a say-so in how it's spent. If that "cause" poorly manages my $$, I have to right to withhold future funds.
