These are always interesting. The Memphis one in particular. And I always thought Atlanta would way more Doggish than what was listed.
Being in Oklahoma I suppose I can't really respond because it is Big XII still...
But there is a fascinating dynamic in Oklahoma regarding Arkansas. There is a significant Hog presence in NE Oklahoma above say I-40. And Tulsa has a significant number of Arkansas grads. It used to be that Tulsa had more Arkansas graduates than any other city until DFW exploded.
OTOH, it is rare to run into Arkansas fans in other parts of the state. You do see Bama bandwagoners around here (OKC) on occasion.

Columbus, OH metro ~1mil (correct me BuckI)
quote:Some people who aren't Alabama fans but wear the gear because of how dominant they have been. The Kentucky fans I meet usually only talk basketball. And yes they loath the SEC up here.
85% OSU
10% Michigan
4.5% Cincinnati
0.5% SEC teams
They absolutely LOATHE the SEC there. It's quite hilarious. I think I've seen 12 Bama fans since I've lived there...
I miss my SEC baws, even if I hate y'all

I don’t think there’s 100,000 folks in all of southeast Arkansas and I ain’t got the desire to poll them. We ain’t got no metro area. We’ve got a lot of farm land though.

I came here expecting some real stats and all I found was made up bullshite.

I live in a town of 5000 people in Colorado. There may be about 25 SEC grads who live here.

Orleans Parish is comfortably the least pro-LSU parish in the state, but would still say it’s probably 50% LSU 25% people who basically just root against LSU and the other 25% are fans of various random schools around the conference and country.
That’s just Orleans parish. The Nola metro area is far more pro LSU. I’d say Nola metro is LSU 70%, Tulane 20%, and other schools 10%. Here on the Northshore, it’s even more pro LSU and more anti Tulane.

Yea definitely I would say Jefferson Parish closer to 80% LSU if not more

I will say this though, I don’t have percentages. But I’m all over SEARK and see a pretty even mix of Hog, LSU, Ole Miss, and State fans

Feels like there are a shite ton of Bama and Ole Miss fans in New Orleans. But I agree that's more in the city than the metro area. Jefferson Parish is definitely more LSU.
South Baton Rouge, West Baton Rouge, Ascension Parish is like 95% LSU, 1% Auburn, 1% Ole Miss, 1% State, 1% Bama, 1% other... North BR is like 50% LSU and 50% Bama, but really whoever is currently the best team. Already starting to see more UGA.

I haven't lived in Charlotte for close to ten years now but usce was the only sec presence there. Majority carolina, then usce/clem/ncst seemed to be the rest. Duke Virginia tenn and vt I thought I'd see more of.
Savanah feels like high 60 percent uga. I'd say the barn and clemson after that with usce tenn bama ohio st make up the rest

need to see your work Because I don’t believe there are 120,000 LSU fans in Mobile and Baldwin counties
Neither the combined population of the two counties nor metro area is 800k.

Edit- I see that you were using Islandboy’s overinflated population estimate which is about 200k over the actual number.

10% South Alabama/ Southern Miss
I live in a community of 450 folks in the Bon Secour/Gulf Shores part of South Baldwin. We have 14 UGA Grads/ supporters.
If I use those numbers and extrapolate for your 800k demographic area I come up with a number of 3.11% UGA Dawgs down here, most retired and living our good life...
