I need to see your work. Because I don’t believe there are 120,000 LSU fans in Mobile and Baldwin counties.

Baldwin county is probably 50% Bama, 35% Auburn and the rest LSU. Daphne has a huge LSU population for some reason.

I know that. I've lived her all my life and know enough people to know there is a huge LSU fan base in Daphne.

I don’t believe that one out of seven football fans that live in Mobile and Baldwin counties are LSU fans. There are quite a few that vacation in Baldwin, some that retire there, but one out seven in the two counties? Let’s say that half those 800,000 are football fans. That is 60,000 LSU fans. No way. I think your perspective may be skewed by all the LSU flags that invade Gulf Shores and Orange Beach like an angry Mongol horde every summer.

So you are saying the high school colors being purple and gold are because everyone there are LSU fans? Or are you saying the high school colors have influenced the residents to become LSU fans?

Our county’s high school colors are orange and white. Yet there are zero Clemson fans here; unless you count the handful of Auburn fans that became huge Clemson fans when they were playing Alabama. The county just north of here has black and gold colors. But no Vandy fans despite all of the black and gold you see around there, especially during football season. Maybe, just maybe, some of the purple and gold seen in Daphne is because those are the high school colors and not because everyone is a LSU fan.

Less than 1 percent. If they guessed what I mean when I say SEC, probably thinking Securities and Exchange Commission.

Oddly enough I used to see quite a few LSU fans, mostly in the lea miles era.. not too many anymore although I do like the colors and wear them occasionally myself as an Alabama grad

Jesus Christ you’re overthinking this.

“Of the SEC football fans in the Mobile area, there are a lot of LSU fans.”

Can you live with that?

Columbus, OH metro ~1mil (correct me BuckI)

85% OSU
10% Michigan
4.5% Cincinnati
0.5% SEC teams

They absolutely LOATHE the SEC there. It's quite hilarious. I think I've seen 12 Bama fans since I've lived there...

I miss my SEC baws, even if I hate y'all

Whole family is from Bay Minette. All UA.

LA is beautiful country. Not much Auburn or anyone else. Get into Daphne and there’s a lot of purple and gold. Guess some folks don’t want to move all the way to Destin.

Williamson County/ Nashville metro:

Nashville metro is still mostly TN/Vandy, followed by Bama and a smattering of other SEC teams.

Percentages change dramatically between metro Nashville & Williamsson. Where I live, there are very few TN or Vandy fans, but that's primarily due to transplants. Seems only a handful of TN fans can afford the area.

Good effort on the estimates. But since Madison County is right on the state line, I think Giles, Lincoln and Franklin Counties have to get a bit more credit of folks who move below the state line:
Decatur Huntsville Metro area
I would say
55% Alabama
25% Auburn
10% Tennessee
10% other
