Every prediction i see here has us raiding the ACC.

Don’t give us the southEASTERN conference bullshite.

5 of the last 6 teams added have expanded our footprint to the WEST: Arkansas, Aggie, Mizzou, Texas, OU.

With the SC/UCLA moves why not go after an Oregon, Stanford, Arizona State, Okie Lite instead of the North Carolina’s and Virginia Techs of the world?

Those schools don’t offer anything.

Because Kentucky, Tennessee, South Carolina and Georgia say we are. Deal with it OP. Enough of your Midwest tornado schools. We are going after Southern schools next.

I can see Florida State. I don't see Miami getting an invite. Cultural fit matters to the SEC - it wasn't that long ago that they declined a petition from WVU, based on nothing other than the game day experience in Morgantown. I don't see the league liking game day in Miami any better.

Plus, there is only one urban school in the SEC - Vandy. I don't think that's a coincidence.

If cultural fit mattered then Missouri wouldn’t have been invited.

Maybe a little of both?
Clemson, North Carolina, Florida State in East
Baylor or Oklahoma State in West

I don’t see the SEC raiding the PAC 12

Austin, TX is very urban. At least as big as Nashville and the fastest growing big city in the country.

Cultural Fit

Miami ................ Mizzou ..... SEC

There. A nice little number line to illustrate my point.

BIG just snagged the LA market, already has major footprint in NYC and Chicago. They are going to go after Georgia Tech and try and get into ATL. They could never fully capture that market but just getting in would be pretty devastating to the SEC. GA Tech will be in the SEC again and within the next 3 years

The only schools in the PAC fart sniffing league worth talking to are U-Dub and Oregon.

They are so geographically far away I would leave them for the B1G to pair with the hollyweird schools they just added.

The SEC should focus on this list

Notre Dame
Florida State
Miami
North Carolina
Clemson
Virginia Tech

Once that has been picked through there isn't much left.

ESPN will tell Sankey which school brings the most dollars, Sankey will decide those schools are a great fit. It is all about the all mighty dollar, culture talk is just for the fans.

I am betting the SEC and BIG10 both end at 20. If you don't make the top 40 cut you are screwed at that point.

That runs counter to the Mike Slive way - and I've seen nothing to make me think that Sankey is deviating from the old blueprint.

But, we're getting ready to see. It'll take time, but I think this USC / UCLA move will ultimately cost Warren his job. I don't think he can hold this all together. Warrens last four acquisitions were Rutgers, Maryland, UCLA, and USC. He won't be able to sustain it all, because there's no cohesion there. My guess is Warren's next moves will indeed be in the South. He'll poach two urban ACC schools, just to say he got "in the market". GA Tech for sure, as somebody has already suggested.

SEC has ATL, STL, Dallas, Houston, Austin, Nashville, New Oreleans, Tampa

BIG has LA, NYC, Chicago, DC, Philly

First and foremost is for the SEC to keep BIG out of ATL. SEC cant compete with that lineup of markets without getting creative. Snagging ND would be the obvious nuclear grand slam but it wont happen. Adding Clemson would help nationally to an extent but most already view them "like" the SEC. The best play for SEC in my opinion would be to go get the basketball bluebloods Kansas, UNC, Duke and bring in a national brand. I think that would propel the SEC into more rooms by far but would SEC add football doormats???

I don't think basketball matters one bit in any of this. Basketball is just what happens between bowl season and spring practice, in the big scheme.
