Born and raised less than a mile from campus. If I wasn’t going to Harvard(obviously not), I was going to Arkansas. My relationship with Arkansas has felt very self-punishing by and large but we still rep hard and have the best fans bar none - nobody else would keep putting up with what we do and keep getting up.

When i was young, my parents could just set me down and i would watch any sport that was on. In the 80s, the only team that was shown on a regular basis was OU for college and Dallas for the NFL. I've been a fan of both for 40+ years now.
I didn't graduate from there because I could get my degree way cheaper at another college closer to home.

I graduated from Louisiana State in May, 1984 with a J-School degree; and have been in governmental public affairs and voiceover acting for most of my career; as well as alumni relations with my fraternity.
I have been a die-hard Tiger fan since my Dad took me to my first LSU game when I was but a small tiger cub - on Oct, 25, 1969 in Death Valley. It was the first of countless visits to Tiger Stadium. It was at this game that I developed my love for the Tigers, the tiger mascot Mike, the Golden Band from Tigerland, etc.
Unbeaten 7th-ranked LSU and Tommy Casanova defeated the unbeaten 5th-ranked Auburn Tigers and Pat Sullivan & Terry Beasley 21-20 in a great game.
LSU scored on the first play of the game on a 55-yard halfback option pass from Jimmy Gilbert to Andy Hamilton. Auburn later took a 14-7 lead but LSU went ahead 21-14 in the 4th.
Auburn scored a (seemingly) tying TD, but Casanova and Mike Anderson blocked the extra point, and the Tigers edged the Plainsmen 21-20 in (they say) one of the great games in Death Valley history.
LSU finished 9-1 and accepted a bid from the Cotton Bowl Committee to play #1 Texas on NYD 1970. Curiously though, the NCAA allowed the Committee to RENEGE on their offer to LSU (after the offer had been accepted by the Athletic Dept.); and took 7-3 and much lower-ranked Notre Dame. The LSU players then subsequently rejected an offer from the Bluebonnet Bowl; and one of the best Tiger teams ever - with an outside chance at a national title, stayed at home.

Grew up a fan, although nobody in my family lineage had ever attended UGA. I was the first one. My family and friends were all "sidewalk" fans.
My mother was a big Arky fan, and it was rare for an Arkansas game to be on TV back then, so when it was, she'd throw a pig I mean big party and break out the razor back plastic helmet and do all the woo pig suey stuff and we all thought it was great. So there's a soft spot in my heart for Arky.
Back to UGA, I went there for 6 years. My wife went back to college late in life and so I spent another 8+ years in Athens while she got her under and post grad.
I finally moved out of Athens in 2017 and regret it, I want to move back. But I'm only 45 minutes away so we still go often, just for the hell of it.

Everyone claims to have graduated from the school of their fandom, shocker. I graduated from a smaller college. I guess I’m not a fan of any major school (I did NOT go to Indiana).

Currently getting a PhD here. It actually gives me an 'in' when having an SEC discussion on SEC sports.

Grew up in western KY and went to small school, Murray State University. Only followed UK basketball while there like every other state citizen up there. I grew up listening to legendary Caywood Ledford on the call and Adolph Rupp was coach when I started listening to games on AM radio.
After graduation I moved to Baton Rouge and was enamored with major college sports at LSU except basketball. I was 22 and have lived here ever since and sent two kids through LSU. Love the Tigers. Love the basketball Cats.
Geaux Tigers! frick Bama
Go Big Blue! frick Duke, I still hate Christian Laettner!

I’ll take a picture of my framed degree (last name blurred out obviously), but it’s not like you’d believe that either if that’s how you think.

Dad went to South Carolina. Both my degrees are from there. My younger brother has two degrees from there as well. Grew up going to South Carolina athletic events. I moved back to Conway after school, but I try to get back up to Columbia when I can. I love my alma mater but there's no glory in pulling for them, so I get frustrated getting my heart broken every year.

I'll never forget coming out of Tiger Stadium in 1990 as a kid after LSU beat UGA 18-13 and this UGA fan says "LSU sucks and Georgia sucks worse". Pretty much summed it up
We endured 6 straight losing seasons from '89-'94 so I feel your pain.

Became a fan when Bama blocked a Penn State field goal to win the game. First full game I ever watch and haven’t looked back. Graduated in 2001 from Bama, have season tickets to football and go to a lot of basketball games.

I graduated from Texas A&M (second generation Aggie).
My firstborn is a freshman at A&M. So as of this year, I’m also an Aggie Parent.

Spent the first year and a half of my life on campus while my dad finished his degree. How many of you can claim that?
