That’s not entirely true either. Some organizations believe in going to the same well for students, and they end up with groupthink issues and a lack of innovation/fresh ideas/sustainable growth. The reality is that there are really smart kids everywhere with great work ethic…and that doesn’t mean that they attended the perceived top schools….that elitist mindset of hiring is such a myth that has been dispelled for quite some time now.
The last time that I checked, the subject matter is the same no matter where you went school from the Ivy League to the SEC to a community college. Most of the criteria taken into consideration for these rankings mean absolutely nothing to employers. As a leader, I’m more interested in the person (the talent) than what school they attended. The formal interview process and time on the job will reveal it all, because making decisions based on a candidate’s school’s perceived reputation is simply fool’s gold.
LSU’s defense is legit. Once their offense gets on track, they will be tough to beat.
Coastal’s off until Wednesday.

There isn’t another player like Fulwiley in NCAA WBB. She’s a natural PG, and a prolific scorer at a position of great need at LSU. Fulwiley’s skill set will allow LSU’s offense to thrive. Also, don’t sleep on Amiya Joyner. She’s a very skilled post player. Coach Mulkey has a plan. I trust her.

I wish Serah the best. With all due respect, Fulwiley (of the two) was the bigger get for LSU’s program. She is a game changer and her commitment was quite newsworthy relative to Serah’s. Fulwiley was an absolute LSU killer at South Carolina. LSU’s team will be very fun to watch next season and is stacked with talent. We’ll see if Coach Mulkey adds another front court player before next season. The Lady Tigers will be just fine.

You had 10 McDonald’s All-Americans on a roster. You guys talked trash all season long and are an insufferable fan base, which means no one feels bad for you guys when you lose. You got skull dragged by UCONN twice this season including at home and when it mattered the most. ONLY one team was going to be happy at the end of the season and it’s NOT South Carolina. It doesn’t matter where any other team was eliminated in the tournament. Your super talented team choked, and UCLA and UCONN provided the blueprint for beating your team…get used to it. The dynasty is over. It happens in all sports. They will continue to have a great program though.

Kim Mulkey is already in the HOF as a coach.
LSU went to 6 consecutive Elite Eights (2003-2008) and 5 consecutive Final Fours (2004-2008).

Great minds…factual data matters.

It all depends on what you mean by Saban. Both coaches have been HCs for 25 years at two different schools. Mulkey has 109 more victories than Staley. Mulkey has 4 NCs and Staley has 3 NCs. More importantly, Mulkey has a NC at both of her HC stops. The only WBB HC in history to do that. When you look at it side by side it’s not so funny that Mulkey is more Sabanesque since he won big at two different schools. With all that said, both are great coaches….What about Geno and his 11 NCs at UConn?

Solid offensive play from your bigs with great shooters on the perimeter kills SC. Their calling card is to jump the passing lanes on defense against inferior teams, but UCLA and UConn with great ball movement and great 3 pt shooting absolutely destroyed SC. Remember that Iowa beat SC with great shooters and solid play from their bigs at the Final Four in ‘23. LSU is capable of beating them. They can match physicality with SC, but they must stay disciplined and mentally tough. Limit the turnovers and mental lapses, and they have a good shot at winning. Those mental lapses during that 8-0 run by SC in their matchup this season was the difference in the game. It’s all about their mindset against SC. I fully expect SC to make it to the Final Four this year.
You need to become more self-aware. You sound like a loser. Keep crying, baby brother!
Keep crying, little brother! LOL! Cry yourself to sleep. Your inferiority complex is on full display. Keep crying, baby brother! LOL!
LOL! You wanna flex NCs, but you don’t bring much to the table in that regard, eh? Stop crying, little brother. LOL!
LOL! How many NCs does SC have across all sports? Now go check LSU’s NCs. LOL! Good night, little brother.
You have nothing and your ignorance shines through. Stop being so sensitive and take your reality check.
How many Final Fours or any major championship games have been played in the state of South Carolina? None, because there isn’t enough of a draw there. Someday you will understand the point. Now go check the list of major sporting events (college, professional, men’s and women’s sports) that have been held in the state of Louisiana.
