What is your favorite game against your rival?

Maybe 09 for me, went to the game. Au fans were cordial except this little Ole lady who at the end was cussing. But the way we won it and then going on to win a ship that year with that game spring boarding us was nice.
*Honorable mention* Anytime we blow them out is a good game.

So what do LSU fans do since we don’t have a rival?

2006 because it was Spurriers first win against the taters and to see the look on Tammy Bowdens face was awesome. Then 2009 was a surprise because that game started off with them running back the kickoff and then we proceeded to whoop that butt. Then 2022 we were down 16-0 at one point and came back to win.

Van Tiffin’s kick was my previous favorite. But 4th and 31 demoralized the Auburn fanbase more than I have ever seen. There were so many tears.

2009 in Atlanta.
They were ACC Champs and a 5-6 Dawgs team beat them and so did Moo St and Dak in the bowl. Just ran it down their throats the entire game with two 100 yard rushers that day.

I was at that one too. I remember Auburn scoring and pulling a surprise onside kick right after and scoring again. I've been in JHS for some extremely loud moments, but that moment in that game that didn't mean a whole lot for Auburn was up there with some of the loudest ive experienced there.
It was a good game, but I knew there was too much time left on Bama's final drive.
ETA: To answer the question: Kick 6.

1961 against Ole Miss
Ole Miss came into Tiger Stadium ranked #2, but was sure to become #1 when they beat the #5 Tigers since #1 Michigan State had already lost that afternoon.
A train brought hundreds of Ole Miss fans to BR, and they took over several favorite spots with their stupid chants IHiddy Toddy - that's a soap commercial).
The game: The Rebels couldn't contain Jerry Stovall or Wendel Harris, who scored all of LSU's points, giving the Tigers a 10-7 lead. Knocking Ole Miss out of NC contention, and propelling LSU to a Co-championship of the SEC with Bama.

When we went up against Brian Kelly and fired him without permission. That was my favorite.

We lost ours long ago when the annual NU-OU Thanksgiving holiday conference finale was killed off by expansion to the original Big XII.
Those were some great games / great memories though and at least they can’t take the memories away.

It’s a tough call for me between Kick 6 and Camback, although seeing the faces of old Bama ushers in the press box turn from wide grins to abject sadness in the second half was memorable.

Personally, my favorite is 08. Just an utterly brutal beating of the Aubbies after six years of losses. It was a very cathartic moment.

For games I’ve attended, it’s 36-0 2008 iron bowl for me. It was just a relief and celebration of a great regular season.
As great as seeing the grave digger play happen, especially sitting in that endzone, there wasn’t the same level of emotion. Seeing the AU fans demoralized didn’t hit the same because we were a low odds play away from being processing the same emotions. Streets were so quiet after the game on both sides.

2008 vs. Auburn.
I was there as a student when we broke the streak in dominant fashion. 36-0 felt so good.

2014. I was there, and it was the highest scoring Iron Bowl in history.
