How could you not like Coach O?
He's the kind of buy you want to hang around with.
That said, I am not sure what kind of head coach he can be but he would be an excellent "team player" coaching staff member.

I like him. From an entertainment standpoint, I really like him. Need to get this guy out for a night of drinking and story telling.
Coaching-wise, he has done better than I thought he would. He is recruiting very well too.
The problem, and this isn't just an LSU issue, is that everyone wants to win the SEC. The problem here is only one team can. Let's say you have one great coach in each conference and they win their conference and have a chance at a national championship. The fan base feel good as they win a conference and have a chance getting into the playoffs. Now take those same 5 coaches and put them in the same conference. Only one can win the conference and fan bases get frustrated because they aren't winning their conference or getting into the playoffs. I think many SEC teams have this issue. They still have great coaches, but the appearance is that they don't when you stack them up against other coaches.

His and the pirate at wsu are the only two coaches I'll watch do a press conference. I like him and hope he has success against everyone but UGA.

I like him. He is a straight up south Louisiana baw I could just as easily see him scrapping in the contractor parking lot at the local refinery.
He is a true LSU fan and has his dream job. I think he has learned a lot from his Ole Miss failures and is doing a decent job. I wish him success

He beat Missouri in recruiting and on the field so he is doing a great job.

Well I see him as the cool uncle type of guy. The one you want to have a beer and raise hell with. Has actually done a pretty decent job . One can argue LSU should be better though with their talent . Generally he is a likeable guy. But remember if most opposing fans are saying good things about your coach and think you should keep them........

Great guy. Great for the SEC. I think he’s a poor tactical coach though. Probably a good CEO coach. I think his authenticity is his biggest strength and after listening to him he gets his team to run through walls for him.

I've always liked his personality, but doubted his head coaching abilities until this year. I was very impressed with his game plan against UGA this year. He was very aggressive, hurried the O to the line before we could get set and went for it on 4th a few times. Had the team ready to play that day and has done a good job solidifying the program. Don't think he's going to unseat BAMA in the West anytime soon, but things are looking up at LSU.

This website wasn’t as big when Saban was here, but you would not believe how much people complained about him even after we won the NC. Our fanbase will complain about ANYTHING.

Consistency?
Last year he loses to Troy, then Beats Auburn. This year he beats Georgia by 20 and then loses to Bama by 29.
