This seems like one of the more accurate lists out there and probably the truest to the actual on the ground noise level on a gameday in each one. Thank you 18mpg.

I know it's not the SEC, and people may not want to hear this.
But the loudest I've been to was Camp Randall in Wisconsin.

Loudest in the SEC def BR, followed by Athens.

1. LSU Earthquake

Have not been to Arkansas, Missouri or Texas AM.

Auburn gets extremely loud. Going to away games used to be an enjoyable experience. Now seats for visitors are so high and far away it is difficult to see, much less hear the "loudness."

Like for me, I went to a day game at Death Valley, and I don’t think the game mattered that much from championship race perspective and it wasn’t very loud.
We don't like football in the day in Baton Rouge.

And for the last 5 years or so, we only like it at Night in the 1st and 2nd quarter if we're playing an SEC team and are winning..........

Tenn, Alabama, USC, Kentucky

Ark, Ole Miss, Georgia once, they didn't have much to cheer about that game.

Miss State disqualified for use of artificial noisemakers.

Haven't been to Mizzou or TA&M

Went to MS St last year too and even while they throttled our arse there was no noise other than bells. Once the play begins and they have to stop using artificial noise, it became silent.

Lousiana writer seemed to think it was plenty loud LINK

One thing I've noticed for a few years is there's a pause after the bells stop but then it gets louder than the bells when the fans' voices take over.

Just based on games I have attended:

1. USCe: It was damn impressive how their fans were involved in the game, and this was during a tough season, and an early game.
2. A&M: I know I am biased, so I hesitate to rank A&M this high, but the truth is that we are just louder than the other stadiums.
3. Auburn: Those backward rednecks brought it. It's a great atmosphere.
4. State: Damn cowbells
5. UT: Despite being in a tough stretch, their fans show up and remain involved.
6. UF: Maybe I was there at a bad time, but the atmosphere did not live up to the billing.
7. Bama: Their fans have become spoiled, I think. But it was cool. Beautiful stadium.
8. Ole Miss: The game wasn't that loud, but it was a great atmosphere
9. LSU: I was shocked at how quiet it was, though it did get a little louder when they carried Les off on their shoulders.
10. UK: It was like a library.

I'd love to go see a game at UGA.

It really is. Their fans have this delusion that their stadium is really loud but its no louder than any other stadium

More often than not there are 60-70k there for the 2nd half. How do you think that few of people are going to keep up with places with 100k?

Alabama has been pretty damn loud for big games the last 6-7 years. Like Spike said, it reverts back to the old days for most of the non-big games. Subdued.

Alabama's stadium, especially before the renovations, is just so poorly designed for keeping in noise. The lower bowl is just so flat. It doesn't help that over the last decade your home schedule has been pretty bland, and you're blowing most people out. The atmosphere will naturally be subdued because of it.

This is another big factor. If you haven't experienced an away game in the lower bowl, then judging the loudness vs another stadium you were in the lower bowl isn't fair.
