Agree with Spike. Good post.
Auburn, LSU and pre-2008 Tennessee are the loudest road stadiums I've ever been to. Auburn is almost always the loudest IMHO. LSU was insane but that was 2008 Saban returns game. So, hard to look at that as a normal atmosphere.
Alabama has been pretty damn loud for big games the last 6-7 years. Like Spike said, it reverts back to the old days for most of the non-big games. Subdued.

Florida also pipes in the theme from Jaws on 3rd down.
No we don't, unless you are counting the band being mic'd up but that's not unique to UF. It's also not a 3rd down thing for us.

How many Auburn games were you at that weren't vs Bama?

7 or 8, half of which were other SEC games, the other ones Sun Belt types
Alabama is a different level, but it's still consistently loud for mid-level SEC games more so than say, Alabama is.
Never been to A&M, Missouri or Kentucky.

Been to 3 road games not counting Florida like 8 times and other neutral sites.
1) USCe- it was 2012 so that's probably the loudest the stadium has ever been
2) Ole Miss- it was 2015 and a nooner not very loud
3) Auburn- also 2012. That place was a surreal atmosphere. Auburn fans all day knew they were getting their arse kicked and you could hear a pin drop across the stadium. Funny thing is I was taking a piss when they announced that Bama lost to A&M and it sounded like a rocket went off. I was so confused since we had just scored I think

I am a little surprised by all the UF love. I went last year and it was okay. Mostly quiet and when it got loud it was ok. Nothing special.

Loudest I've been in outside of TS was the 2011 9-6 game at Bryant Denny. I've been to a lot of games there (not all are LSU) and I havent seen that atmosphere since, it was incredible.

In no particular order:
LSU (during Saban and Miles tenures, since then those fans are not quite as enthused)
AU (up and down since Bowden)
UF (during the Spurrier years. place has gotten progressively quieter since then except for just a few games)
UT is up there but it's so horizontal, doesn't hold in the sound quite like the others.
It all depends on where you sit too. If you are close to the field, I don't think any stadium gets to UF levels from the Spurrier years. Vertical design keeps that noise on the field pretty well.

From afar, it doesn't seem like Florida has been a madhouse since the Meyer era or even the Spurrier heyday.
That place was insansity in the 90s.

It’s got a reputation for sure. I lucked into a presidential suite. Maybe the glass dampered the crowd noise more than I realized?

It's a shadow of its former self. Used to be known as crazy loud with insane student section. The students are lazy now. They show up late, they are on their phone instead of watching the game, and they don't make much noise. And it's not just UF that happens with. Seems to be common around the country. Can't see a broadcast now without huge numbers of students on their phones no matter what is going on in the game.

But then again I am much more likely to check my phone between plays to see a better replay or text a friend watching on TV when there is a controversial play.
I will say walking along the bare scene and tailgates I saw some real talent and shite ton of dbags.

Don't kid yourself ... you're a micro peen butt licker if you honestly believe the 2012 spanking our guys threw on your dawgs that night was the loudest Billy Brice has ever been.
frick but that is some self-absorbed hubristic egocentric BS for you to honestly look at yourself in the mirror and believe that.
I mean in the 80s if it wasn't swayin' we wasn't playing .... we made the gosh damn stadium damn near collapse. It swayed some 78" ror both the Notre Dame game and the So Cal game ... you think your pups made it sway that much in 2012?
Then I can name two games vs Bama in the Cock Pit where it was louder than it was that night in 2012.
Then there was the '77 game vs the sheep humpers ... their famous Jerry Butler catch game ... and so many other taterheads games in the Billy Brice.
Wanna know some more?
Well let's see ... that '92 game vs UT and Heath Shuler and Littleman Stewart and that crowd ... hell, we got Johnny Majors fired for that one.
'69 ... every time Dicky Harris ran back a kick for a TD on our way to the ACC championship it was louder than it was that night in 2012.
So yeah, appreciate you giving us cudos for that one night ... but nah, it wasn't as loud as it's ever been in the Cock Pit, you were just trying to flatter yourself. I get it but don't do that please. Yeah, it was loud that night but hey, that, just the Cock Pit in Billy Brice on a good night when we're playin' and things are swayin' and it's happened many many more times than just against UGA on that night in 2012.

1. Lower level Kyle Field. Couldn't hear my wife telling at me.
2. Williams-Bryce 2010 when they beat us. We were ranked #1.
3. Tiger Stadium several times
