re: 12th Grade Girls Are Far Less Likely Than Boys To Say They Want To Get Married Someday

I can't read this and just let it go even though I should.
Society is organized around male comfort? What????
Men die for women. Men sacrifice for their women and families. Men work the vast majority of dangerous jobs.
Men literally have to sign up for the military. Women dont. Women cannot be hit. Meanwhile I see women hitting men constantly. Women cannot be criticized. Women are held up on a pedestal in shows and commercials. Women have advantages in scholarships. Women have huge optionality in dating. Men dont. Men are expected to be chivalrous and romantic toward women. Not true the other way.
I could go on.
It does not appear to me that society is organized for male comfort.

Cubs is wrong in so many ways but rationally arguing with women is futile boys. The wide disparity in kids outcomes from single moms vs single dad's alone by itself is a benefit that cannot be overcome ... and there is so much more. But let's take a different angle.
For the sake of the discussion let's just say men somehow benefit more in marriage than women. Totally wrong but let's pretend that is the fact.
Is it true that men RISK more by marriage?
Unequivocally the answer has to be a resounding YES with divorce stats and family court problems.
So then it would follow in that hypothetical that men risk more and benefit more. Seems fair.
Modern society is asking men to risk wayyy more and, with modern women's attitudes benefit less in marriage. Sadly this is where we are at. Men see this and aren't playing this game anymore. It's rigged for failure.

B1G should add 10 teams and close the doors at 28. SEC should do the same. Each conference should have 4 divisions of 7
Play 12 games. 6 division. 1 from the other 3 divisions. 1 protected rival. 2 non conference games from other league. Start labor day weekend with some good B1G SEC matchups. Each team gets 1 bye week. End reg season Thanksgiving weekend.
Playoffs are all division champs plus 6 wildcards. So 10 per conference. 6 byes. The 4 bottom play at the higher seed for round 1 first week in Dec. 2nd week of December play the 2nd round at home fields. 3rd week play the top 4 at Indy and Vegas bowls. NY Day top 2 Rose Bowl. National Championship 2 weeks later on a Saturday night.
B1G West
USC Oregon Washington UCLA Utah Stanford ASU
B1G North
Michigan Michigan State Wisconsin Minnesota Nebraska Iowa Colorado
B1G South
Ohio State Penn St Indiana Purdue Northwestern Illinois
B1G East
Notre Dame Miami Florida State Maryland Virginia GA Tech Rutgers

Madison will be a shell of itself.
With the Fickell era we are near an all time low.
Prepare for a letdown in the Stadium.
Maybe 50k? Sad times.
The gameday atmosphere will be pretty lame i am guessing.
Nothing like precovid seasons.

Your super conference is a bit different than mine
You leave out Utah BYU Stanford Cal Colorado Arizona St Kansas and others. But not all will make the cut.
I could see the B1G adding Notre Dame and Stanford- Florida State and Miami - Arizona St and Colorado. Plus some ACC schools.
SEC does similar
I see 4 divisions of 7
Hard to balance perfectly for geographical consideration and strength
But this would be nearly ideal for a B1G version. Play your 6 division opponents and one protected opponent outside the division plus one opponent from each of the other 3 divisions = 10 games. Add a non super league cupcake and a SEC crossover game = 12 games.
2 byes. Division winners guaranteed in 20 team playoff
B1G West
USC
Oregon
UCLA
Washington
Stanford
Arizona St
Utah
B1G Central
Michigan
Michigan St
Nebraska
Wisconsin
Iowa
Minnesota
Colorado
B1G East
Penn State
Maryland
Florida State
Miami
North Carolina
Virginia
Ga Tech
B1G North
Ohio State
Notre Dame
Purdue
Indiana
Illinois
Northwestern
Rutgers

Will it happen?
Will any B1G or SEC schools get dropped?
How many programs?
24?
32?
40?
48?
Who makes the cut?
Obviously IMO
Alabama Notre Dame Ohio State Texas. Michigan Oregon Tennessee Georgia. LSU Penn State Oklahoma Auburn. Florida Clemson Florida State USC. That is 16. Who is in the next 8 for 24 or 16 for 32?

Alabama passing or OSU passing?
Both ridiculously elite!
Hoosiers will finish undefeated and get to B1G championship and have home field advantage in Indy.
That Indiana OSU potential B1G matchup will be epic!
Indiana might win that one but OSU goes farther in the playoffs and plays Alabama for the title eventually.
Some huge games coming up to watch.

I want to see OSU with its QB and Wrs
Vs Bama and its QB and Wrs.
Those 2 look the best to me.
Indiana is a danger in every game however

$40k lawyers
$150k fair division of assets
$100k stolen division of assets
$250k lost future savings by refi and losing my 2% interest rate
Over half a million I figure for a middle class middle age guy.
For no good reason.
Devestating!

24-13 Bama
Bucky is better, Bama is not.
11:00 am kick with an unhappy fanbase and tickets going for $25 probably wont be as hostile as it could be.
If UWs center does not play then the score will be more like last season.

I dont believe porn is the major factor.
Women in general dont like men as much and have become ultra entitled and men have started to avoid women and their BS attitude and unfair laws.
This divide between the sexes couple with the need to work more jobs to make ends meet are impacting things.
