I'm a Christian and here's my issue with some of my brethren. I absolutely believe in forgiveness and redemption. The problem is when those concepts are used as a master "get out of jail free" card, and when there's an attitude that forgiveness and redemption mean escaping earthly and secular consequences for your actions. They don't.

Jesus is neither and if you had to pick he would be neither. He would love for us to give our shirt off our backs to those in need and love everyone unconditionally but at the same time he lived a fairly conservative life.

Sure, if the statistical possibility that water can exist was 1 to x, with x being the number of atoms in the known universe, and that gravity was such that this particular set of water molecules could find this particular square yard of indentation amongst 127 billion acres on earth.
And at that we still have nothing more than a few poor descriptions of how you’d even get organic matter from inorganic matter but certainly nothing remotely approaching an explanation.
Or how I have to suspend general relativity around the fact that a force that’s timeless, spaceless, and non matter in excess of all the known energy of the existent universe.
