There is forgiveness, and there is redemption. You can have one without the other. However failure in the latter will eventually render the former meaningless.

No, this is church lies to get more money.
There is a difference between asking for forgiveness and asking for a blind eye, and it seems many people do not know the difference.
When you ask for forgiveness, it means you have seen the error in your way, and you have changed and fixed that error, so you will no longer continue to make that mistake. In the end, this is all that is really asked of you, and if you actually fix your mistake, you should and will be forgiven.
But most people only ask for a blind eye. They do not want to fix their errors, they just want to people to turn a blind eye to what they have done, while they continue to make the same mistakes. They have not actually asked for forgiveness, and they will not be forgiven until they actually fix their mistakes.
The church tells the sinner otherwise because a sweeter juice gets more buyers. But it's a lie. And if you think otherwise, then you tell me why Jesus didn't tell the rich man "Just wait until I'm murdered, then you don't have to worry about shite".
It's the life of Jesus that will save you, not his death. The only thing that lives with the death of truth is the lie. He was murdered so those in power could maintain power with the lie. The Christian church are the followers of Saul/Paul, not Jesus. Bottom line.

People don’t seem to realize God knows if your repentance is genuine. It doesn’t matter if the entire world forgives you and believes you have repented. God knows your heart.

idk bout all that but you should be disgusted by the globohomo agenda that's running around. you're lashing out for no reason. my mother is a mizzou alum and she doesn't give them a cent any more. 1+1=2 is really just made up shite and has no real meaning until you understand the math it's expressing. And if you don't understand why 1+1=2, it's just gibberish which you can have faith in or not. Either way is really the same to be honest, because if you don't understand then you don't understand why 1+3=4 and why 2+1 doesn't equal 4.
Because in the end, aren't you really make your judgement based on what the people who say 1+1=2 do, rather than it being because you reject the understanding behind 1+1=2?
This may not make sense, but the short versions is I just don't think you'd feel the same way if you understood what was actually being expressed.
