We'll, they're all protestant. Protestants couldn't hack it at being catholic, so they all left and made up their own religions with their own rules.

Actually the Catholics figured out mea culpa and forgiveness. Evangelicals/Protestants just prefer their confessions to be public because they are attention whores more than anything else.
