Assuming Fromm is gone after 2019 (which obviously isn't a given).....

- Stetson Bennett - JR (3-star, #155 JuCo recruit 2019)

- D'Wan Mathis - RS-FR (4-star, #311 recruit 2019) (had brain surgery on May 23, full recovery expected)

- Carson Beck - FR (4-star, #119 recruit 2019)

What do Georgia folks hope to see in 2020 if Fromm leaves? It doesn't sound like Beck is going to be an option to start in 2020 at a true freshman and Mathis will have missed most/all of 2019 reps/practice. Is it going to be Bennett at least to start?

Or, does Georgia hit the grad transfer market for a 1 year bridge?

Pick up stud VOLS qb Guidantanamo to avenge for Prince Phil's theft of Big Jim Chaney

Honestly, most of the fan base is ignoring this looming issue.

Rusty Mansell thinks Georgia might go for a second QB in Beck's class. But thinks it could be a grad transfer.

If we don't win the SEC/NCG some seem to think Fromm may return.

It will be a battle between Stetson Bennett IV and a grad transfer, IMO.

This would obviously be the absolute best answer for UGA and would answer all the questions (and give more time to find the next guy).

Didn't you pick up a pretty good kid from CA or somewhere in last years class? At least a 4*?

I am hoping like hell Fromm comes back. The NFL mocks I am seeing do not place him in the first round, so it is a possibility.

If he does not come back, I think hope is our strategy.

I'm thinking that is what recruiting is for. I don't know what is available but everybody has to replace players all the time. Having said that I hope Fromm stays for his senior year but I kind of doubt it.

Sign 3 more 5* so that 2 of them can transfer.

I don't know if Mathis will ever play again. A brain tumor is some serious shite. Who knows if he is able to take the shots he will get playing football?

Bennett would be OK...He has some wheels, but his passing decisions are sometimes very questionable. Maybe that can be fixed.

Who knows with Beck...Had a great junior season in HS, but his supporting cast has graduated and his senior season is not so good.

If that's what it takes, then so be it.

I think grad transfer is an almost certainty if Fromm leaves though

Back up a brinks trunk to get Fromm to stay?

PS Under the new pay for play scheme, imagine how many studs might be enticed to stay their senior year - and it all will be above board.

Last year we had John Rhys Plumlee committed for a while. He switched to Ole Miss last second because he wanted to play baseball too. Kirby also wanted him to enroll early(Plumlee didn't want to). Kirby cooled on him at the end. I have watched Plumlee this year and I think the kid looks good.

We went after Dillion Gabriel also. One of the few big schools to offer him(I believe USCw, UCF, and UGA all offered). He went to UCF. He looks good too.

Kirby will find players. He significantly increased the number of analysts on staff.

Future QBs see that we limit what the QB is allowed to do so to be honest we might struggle recruiting another 5-star QB.

Having said that I think we are in the running for a 2020/2021 stud.

Transfer market if Fromm leaves. Should be a pretty easy sell
