Nathan Priestley is who I was thinking about, but I don't see much on him on the recruiting sites. What about D'Wan Mathis? He looks big and solid.

Could be, but he had a serious health issue (benign brain tumor) that basically has taken him out of action for 6 months. Gonna have to wait and see with him.

Damn, that sucks.
Just like RB, you guys always seem to have a great QB somewhere.

Honestly the top tier teams shoud really only recruit QBs as a backup option. 1st option should always be grad transfer market (or transfer with waiver market). Get a chance to actually see if these guys are decent or busts.

I would assume off season transfer is almost a sure thing for them.

Sign 3 more 5* so that 2 of them can transfer.

Then maybe one more of ours can transfer to UF so you can double your amount of 5 starts

I'd say your first goal would be an elite QB (of which there are only 3-4 a year IMHO), but if you don't find one of those your goal should be a guy you think you can trust and like and fits into a "game manager" role (for whatever your program does offensively).

Then you decide where you are at the end of each year and if you trust your roster to start and win games. If not, transfers.

And yet both teams will be sitting at home watching two other teams play for the title...

I would be more upset that the backup QB's I let go are probably going to win more games than the team they started with.

Fromm will be selling cars in Macon GA within five years.

Fields would be at UF right now if Kirby had not signed him, so maybe you should be the one who is upset (with Mullen).

Sad to say, but that is preferable to selling cars in Gainesville.

Maybe. Neither of them has played a team worth it's salt yet.

You're a UF fan. You should worry more about AU's defense this weekend then how our former qbs play.

Which would make him more successful than your career as a shift manager at McDonalds.

Fromm will, at minimum, have a job as a NFL backup QB for a decade.

Mark it down, bookmark it, do whatever you want to do. He has good enough talent and will know every single little thing about whatever offense he is in to the level that the head coach will trust him to play 2 series if the starter gets hurt or play 5 games if the starter gets hurt.

The problem might be that UGA's offense isn't as easy to just plug and play as say Oklahoma's or Ohio State's. It will be tougher to find that 5 star transfer.

If I was UGA I would actually be knocking on Chase Brice's door - the backup QB at Clemson. Local GA kid that would thrive in a pro style offense. He might be on track to graduate early this year as a redshirt sophomore. That would give him two years to play and he would be immediately available. Really like the kid - he has the tools but is a little bit more of a cerebral QB than Lawrence.

this.
He's too smart to not get offers in the pros. What he lacks in size he more than makes up for with his head.

Jake Bentley transfers to UGA, has 30 TD's and only 4 interceptions, leads UGA to championship while beating South Carolina in Columbia by 40.

Maybe they should've thought about that before they called Justin Fields the n-word

That would truly be some shite. And the guys in my text thread titled “frick Muschamp” (i’m The only non-Gamecock in the group) would flip their shite because they HATE Bentley. It would be funny.
