He has to put distance between himself and Urban. Corch Meyers probably could coach 20 + more years and has 3 championships already. 6 isn't enough for Saban. I think he goes for 10 championships. Dabo will probably win some more at some point too.

Saban will coach probably 7 more years which will be more than enough to win 4 more championships. The next 2 are his as long as Tua stays injury free. Then he'll have 5 years to win 2 more.

Who wants to retire as the GOAT only to have someone pass them 10 years later.

Except with 5 more titles.

So basically, Tom Tuberville with a booster club willing to buy him any recruit he deems necessary for over a decade.

That’s why he never even had back to back 10-win seasons in his entire career before he landed at the best program in college football history.

I can't imagine Urban lasting 20 more years. During games he looks to be in much worse health than Saban.

Tommy didn't have near the worth ethic. He loved duck hunting and BBQs. He also was not on the cutting edge nor did he hire and develop good assistants like Saban.

Saban's staff development is more impressive than his recruiting.

We agree. Give Tom Tuberville the resources of a program willing to spend more money on recruiting, “developing”, and retaining (making issues go away) than the rest of the SEC combined and you get Nick Saban.

Once upon a time, Saban was just another hapless, vulnerable coach there at the podium on NSD, a desperate man staring down the barrel of his program’s expectations (of return on their player recruiting investment) and their rival having just won as many titles as his program with 1/4th the resources... having watched Auburn threaten to sign a 2nd consecutive class better than his, looking directly into the camera, begging the REC to buy Cyrus Kouandjio away from Auburn to save his incompetent arse from being exposed...

Again, Tom Tuberville with resources.

He will probably go till his wife is ready for him to have his weekends free. I don't see him losing the fire anytime soon

Saban has at a minimum, five good years left. After that, it is a toss up. I feel like he will go out on top, on his own terms. I doubt he would want a few bad years to tarnish his record.

Knowing Saban though, dude will go another 15...

The sad thing is you actually believe that.....

But whatever helps you sleep at night....

But think about this, once Coach Saban leaves Alabama, Alabama will find another coach like Coach Bryant or Coach Saban....... remember Alabama has had 5 NC winning coaches, and only 1 was unable to win it multiple times....

frick. Dude. You are bringing me out if lurking. Everyone read your stupidity the 1st time. No need to repeat it 5 times.

Us LSU fans may still be bitter that Saban left but he must have fricked your mom or something for this delusional bullshite to come out

I can see why y'all could hold a grudge, what with him leaving and all, but this poor motherfricker is absolutely seething with hate, envy and jealousy over Alabama and Saban. This old boy seriously is in need of professional help.

I think it's the other way around. He's made Bama Football what it is today.

I'd say 5 years + or - a year.

What else is he gonna do? Poor guy would be sitting at the lake in Georgia wondering why he couldn’t make children. He’d be miserable.
